Chapter 69 - Chapter 69: Ten Tails!

After the capture of the eight tailed beasts, the battlefield was already in chaos.

Then—

Leo leapt to the side of Uchiha Madara and the massive Gedo Statue.

With a calm but chilling voice, he declared:

"Summoning Technique!!"

His palm slammed down onto the cracked battlefield.

Zhengpu——!!

A second massive cloud of white mist erupted high above the war-torn land.

"Again?! What is he doing now?!"

The sight of Leo using the Summoning Technique once more left countless ninjas stunned and terrified.

This battle had already spiraled far beyond comprehension.

If Madara was already terrifying, Leo, who now stood beside him, felt like another nightmare.

The power gap between them and Uchiha Izuna—who had shown up earlier to challenge the alliance—was now evident.

Izuna was powerful, no doubt. His Bloodline Technique, "Blood Qifei," was terrifying in its own right. But Madara and Leo were something else entirely.

They wielded powers the coalition didn't understand—and couldn't defend against.

"Wheel Graveside Prison…"

The invisible hands of death had knocked down all eight tailed beasts in one move. The coalition's efforts to save them were useless. No one even knew what hit them.

No chakra signature.

No form.

No time to react.

Just... devastation.

And the worst part? They knew it wasn't over.

Roar——!!

The white mist dispersed suddenly, and a deep, beastly roar shook the battlefield!

A set of nine massive tails whipped through the dust like battering rams, tearing through the remaining smoke.

"It can't be…"

"That's—"

"Nine Tails?!!"

When they saw the hulking form emerge from the fog, Onoki, the Raikage, Terumi Mei, and countless others were stunned.

That monster—Kurama, the Nine Tails—was now standing behind Leo?!

Could it be… Nine Tails had become his Summoning Beast?

The implications were terrifying.

If this was true, then all nine tailed beasts were now in Madara and Leo's hands.

And that meant—

"The Ten Tails… it's real…"

A wave of horror spread across the entire ninja alliance.

"Motor!!" Kurama roared, locking eyes with Leo, filled with hatred and fury. Without hesitation, he lunged forward.

But—

Zheng——!!

Leo's eyes flickered.

His scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan activated, stopping Kurama instantly in his tracks.

Kurama's raised claw halted in mid-air, frozen.

"Damn it… Motor…" Kurama growled through clenched teeth.

Then he sensed it.

The Gedo Statue.

Kurama's eyes widened in shock. "What are you doing?!"

Before Leo could reply, Uchiha Madara stood atop the Gedo Statue, laughing coldly.

"Nine Tails… I told you before. You tailed beasts are nothing more than scattered fragments of chakra."

"Now, with Leo and I united, we will bring you all back into one body. You will become Ten Tails once more!"

Kurama's eyes trembled.

"Stop joking around… damn Motors!"

"Hmph!"

Madara sneered, making a single hand seal.

Zheng——!!

The Gedo Statue let out another guttural sound. A blinding blue Chakra chain shot from its mouth and instantly wrapped around Kurama's neck.

"No…!" Kurama struggled violently, his muscles tightening, but he couldn't break free.

"STOP HIM!!" Onoki roared with panic.

"If Nine Tails is devoured, we don't know what kind of disaster will happen!"

Shua——!!

Two massive sand arms suddenly shot out from the battlefield and grabbed the chain.

It was Gaara!

He wasn't dead?!

Leo and Madara both frowned.

Hadn't Shukaku already been sealed?

How was Gaara still alive?

It wasn't until Leo caught a glimpse of an elderly corpse among the ranks of the ninja alliance that it made sense.

Chiyo…

She had used the Forbidden Technique — Reanimation Life Exchange — and sacrificed herself to bring Gaara back.

Just like in the original timeline.

The alliance wouldn't go down without a fight.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!!"

"Lightning Style: Thunderclap Blade!"

"Wind Style: Gale Palm!"

All around, countless ninjas unleashed ninjutsu at once, hoping to stop the chain from dragging Kurama to his doom.

But—

"Oh, please…"

Leo sneered coldly, then clapped his hands together.

"Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!!"

Crack——!!

Suddenly, the ground beneath the battlefield erupted.

Towering trees shot upward, tearing through rock and sand like colossal pythons made of chakra.

Boom——!!

A deafening crash followed as the monstrous branches swept toward the ninja alliance.

"What—Wood Style?!"

Onoki gasped in disbelief.

"That's Grandpa's Wood Style…" Tsunade's eyes widened in horror. "How does he…?"

Then she remembered.

Years ago, she had transplanted cells from her grandfather, Senju Hashirama, into Leo's body to save his life.

Back then, she never imagined it would awaken this kind of power.

"The legendary First Hokage's Wood Style…"

Now reborn in someone even more terrifying.

The branches spread like wildfire.

Gigantic roots wrapped around the terrain, smashing through jutsu barriers and pulverizing entire platoons.

Even the most powerful ninjas were helpless.

"Ugh!!"

One by one, shinobi were turned into pulp under the crushing weight of the forest.

And worse—

The Wood Style wasn't just physical.

It drained chakra from every ninja it touched, fueling its growth.

It grew larger and stronger with every kill.

[Kill Count: 3,564 ninjas of the Allied Forces. Reward: 356 Primary Achievement Draws.]

[Kill Count: Kirigakure's Ao. Reward: Intermediate Achievement Draw.]

[Kill Count: Cloud Village Ninjas Omoi and Mabui.]

[Kill Count: Sand Village's Baki and Kankuro.]

[Kill Count… continues.]

The ninja alliance suffered unimaginable losses.

Temari screamed as she watched her brother Kankuro crushed by a spiraling tree limb.

Kurotsuchi ran through rubble, frantically digging out her grandfather.

"Old man!! Don't you dare die on me!"

Onoki coughed blood.

He was barely breathing.

Just before passing out, he had mustered the last of his chakra to launch Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique—

But it had been useless.

There were too many tree limbs. Too many roots.

And his chakra… too little.

The final blow came—

AOOOOHHH——!!!!

Kurama's body vanished into the Gedo Statue.

The moment the ninth tailed beast was devoured…

Ten Tails opened its eyes.

All of them.

Each eye emitted a blood-red glow, and the howling from its throat sent tremors through the atmosphere.

A piercing, guttural roar echoed across the battlefield.

The sound was unnatural.

Terrifying.

It was as if the world itself was crying out.

"Ten Tails… has awakened…"

Onoki, Terumi Mei, Raikage Ai, Gaara, and the surviving ninja—all battered and broken—watched with despair.

This monster…

This calamity…

Was finally here.

The true end of the shinobi world was no longer prophecy.

It was reality.
