Among, the crowd of guests that were chatting and engaging in drinking wine - mostly red wine. Some were waiting - waiting for someone, hoping to have a chance to charm them.
Their eyes were fixed on the staircase waiting for that special someone to arrive. Eyes watching the stairs attentively that lit up when a figure emerged from the stairs. A young lady who was slim, wearing a gorgeous gown that hung her curves in the right place ; simply coloured red, a necklace of pearls were surrounding her neck. Her Lustrous hair was open, matching the design of her heels.
All eyes were on her. when she finally looked up, everyone felt lost looking at her beautiful eyes, they were crystal-blue, and resembled the pure sky with pupils shaped like a droplet.
Mummers could be heard.
"Who is she?"
"She's so mesmerizing.."
"Her eyes, are far more prettier then anything I encountered."
"Dazzling, gorgeous - just where did she come from? Heaven perhaps?"
Numerous sentences could be heard.
As the girl descended from the staircase like a precious treasure.
The girl stood at the end of the staircase and bowed down gracefully smiling, and showing her cute dimples.
"Hello everyone - let me introduce myself; I am Jasmine Pearl, the emperor's brothers, daughter."
At the mention of the emperor, everyone bowed in sync at her presence despite some knowing her already.
After many were done mesmerising the young lady, they returned to their own conversations but kept doing quick glances towards lady jasmine once in a while.
Some ladies had built enough courage to approach Lady Jasmine and ask her to become friends with them.
"Lady jasmine?"
Jasmine turned to look at the sound, and greeted the young fellow ladies as the both sides had bowed.
"Yes, How may I assist you?"
She spoke softly as her lips twitched into a tiny smile, the young fellow ladies smiled at her and responded back.
"I'm Lady Rover - The northern Duke's daughter."
"I'm Lady Angelina - The counts daughter."
"And, I'm lady Yuma, The marquises' oldest daughter."
Lady Jasmine smiled at them, and nodded at their greeting.
"It's nice to meet you all, ladies - I hope we all become best friends from this day onward."
"Of course! It will be an honour!", Yuma replied with a gentle smile that reached her eyes which made Rover nod and Angelina to chuckle.
Their conversation of getting to know each other began but then the host spoke which got everyone's attention as they all faced him.
"Everyone, It seems everybody is getting along! It's a pleasure to know you all are making friends, but we don't just have one surprise, which was Lady Jasmines appearance, but we have Sir Ares a legendary hero from the western and eastern land of Firzen. He has recently defended the southern area from monsters."
The host took a breath and focusing on everyone In the crowd and added a comment:
"He will be here through that door!"
The host pointed at the entrance of the door, but Instead of Sir Ares entering, there was dark energy entering.
Everyone was confused but started to panic when the door broke down and a large monster entered which led to the entire ballroom being packed with monsters. The knights that were present rushed to defend the nobles. The Noble men present took out their swords, offering help to the knights and started to attack the monsters, but it was no use since the monsters rather then dying kept growing.
Just then a sudden voice broke out, "LADY JASMINE! WATCH OUT!"
It was a voice of worry and It came from Lady Rover running towards Lady Jasmine all because there was a monster getting ready to pounce on her.
Lady Jasmine turned around quickly and her eyes widened as the monster was seconds away from attacking her with its claws. She closed her eyes, fearing for the worst.
But after some time, she felt no pain or anything, as she opened her eyes to see the monster dead on the ground with a sword pierced through its chest. Jasmine looked up and all she saw was a figure of a man.
