She wanted to get up, yet her body felt so heavy that she needed to stop for a while. Lifting her head, she sighed in relief.
This place… she had made it there.
The ruins of her previous observation room. Some parts of the ground were uneven. Some holes appeared hollow, like a small crater. The opening to that tunnel-like space was gone; buried in soil and rocks.
The rooms had crumbled, leaving four walls, missing windows and doors. Medical equipment, hospital beds, curtains, and tiles; everything was painted with dirt and dried dark blood.
It looked like something that had just come out of a horror movie which took place in an abandoned hospital.
Signs of zombies were everywhere on the broken ground. The rancid smell wasn't as nauseous as before. Her nose had magically gotten used to it, along with her zombie transformation.
Besides her, there didn't seem to be any hints of living beings.
