Cassias froze, not expecting Zerra's question nor her sudden transformation into a human. When her words registered in his mind, he couldn't keep a straight face anymore.
His face flushed. He covered it with both of his hands.
The accusation in Zerra's eyes grew more fervent, and she crossed her hands on her chest. She was one brain cell away from biting him again…
Uh, wait, she couldn't do that in her human form.
She had never seen the male lead looking so embarrassed. She let out a dramatic sigh. "You are guilty, right?"
The male lead actually did such an abominable thing to her! S-she… was also at such a loss for words. But it was definitely unacceptable; it made her furious!
"Give me your hands." Cassias took a deep breath. His ears still had a faint red in them, but his face was a lot calmer.
Zerra subconsciously held out her hands. Then, something fell onto her palm.
