"Where had they gone?"
The doctor taking care of Amorric was also in a panic. He had accidentally fallen asleep when he was supposed to administer medicine to Amorric.
"I-I am s-sorry," his voice was a little slurred, like he was drunk. Obviously, he had just awoken from his sleep. "I didn't know what came over me… it's my mistake."
Zerra frowned and shook her head. "Do you remember the time when you fell asleep?"
"I fell asleep soon after noon." He knitted his eyebrows. His face was all scrunched up in thought. "I feel unbearable drowsiness after I drink a glass of water. I just wanted to take a quick nap… a few minutes should be enough, but as you can see…"
The doctor had a worried look on his face.
"How was the patient's condition when you took care of him?" Cassias asked.
Laziel, who had joined them, added, "You can explain in detail to us."
