Chapter 265 - Chapter 265: Tidegate Base

Zerra was happy, hugging the tiger fondly. However, Azir was a little terrified. He had screamed loudly in fright. Although he had mostly calmed down, he was still anxious.

"Don't worry, the tiger is really friendly." She tried to reassure Azir again.

He was quiet for the whole journey then and didn't make too much fuss. Zerra opened the map, and she communicated with the tiger to bring them to the nearest base.

Tide Gate base.

The journey took around a day before they arrived. Some people sized them up. In contrast to them, the people from the base were mostly thin and dirty.

Zerra realized that the tribe members led a better life compared to the people from the base. Fortunately, they lived rather deep in the mountains. 

The outer members also must have kept their mouth shut about their possession and didn't allow the people who had taken refuge with them to know too much. 

"Can we stay here?" Zerra asked the guard in charge of their gate.
