She returned to her seat, and Rachel turned her attention back to the proposal.
Just as she started typing, her phone rang again. Feeling a little annoyed, she glanced at the screen, it was a call from Teacher Moore.
It wasn't time for school to end yet, so Rachel wondered if something had happened to Cora.
"Hello, Teacher Moore," Rachel said, answering the call.
Rachel couldn't believe that Cora had gotten into a fight with someone, but she immediately said, "Okay, I'll come over right away."
After hanging up the phone, Rachel looked at the project plan in front of her with some difficulty.
She had been working on it all afternoon, and now there was just over an hour left before she had to finish work.
If she left to pick up her child from kindergarten, she might not have enough time to complete it.
She walked over to Holly.
Seeing her approach, Holly smiled sympathetically and asked, "Rachel, what's up?"
