Chapter 207 - Notice II

Hiautus

Well, you already know my girlfriend broke up with me. My friend took care of letting you all know because I haven't been in good shape these last few days. Luckily, the jeweler was understanding and since I was still within the deadline, I managed to return the rings, so at least that part wasn't too terrible.

The problem is that I'm having writer's block with this story. Every time I try to write something, memories of my girlfriend hit me and I end up dropping everything after just a few words. It's happened several times already; I've tried to pick the story back up, but I just can't.

My friend tells me I should relax, and that in the meantime I should upload one of my personal projects—he already approved them and promised to help me with the research.

As you know, my biggest weakness is writing the beginnings of stories. I think I managed to create a halfway decent opening this time (normally my personal projects don't even have that part because I'm terrible at writing introductions). The thing is, since I won't be continuing this story for a few months but still want to give something to the people who enjoy my writing, I have three projects saved that I could polish, translate into English, and upload in a few days.

So my question is: which one would you like to see?

I have one about a person from our time who reincarnates as Basileus Makedon, the "peasant emperor." I started this one when Europa Universalis 5 came out, so it's heavily inspired by historical accuracy. It focuses more on business, intrigue, and betrayals in the Byzantine court.

Another one is a reincarnation as a commoner in the Margraviate of Brandenburg a few decades before the Baltic Crusades. Like the previous one, this one leans heavily into commerce and social ascent while searching for land in the region.

And the third is the Warhammer 40K project I'm working on with my friend, where we combine the story with StarCraft 2, sending the Terran Dominion—either just one character, or a small war fleet into the 40K universe.

I'll leave the choice up to you, and I want to apologize for not being able to continue. I'm truly blocked right now and can't get anything done, and the only time I can write is when I switch to other stories.
