Chapter 24 - The Hero Who Let Go

Ryu Arc was no longer the strongest man alive.

No longer the 7th Stage Mob who stood alongside legends.

He was… just a man now.

But stories of his will, his sacrifice, and the decision to destroy his own foundation to stop a world-ending being spread across all continents. Bards called him The Hero of the Final War. Scholars named him The One Who Denied God. Children whispered his name like a myth.

But for Ryu, none of that mattered.

What mattered now… was family.

A New Life

A year passed.

Reina gave birth to a baby girl—a healthy child with her father's calm eyes and her mother's bright energy.

They named her Caline Arc.

The name "Arc" was new, born from the ashes of battle and built upon a vow:

> "No more bloodlines. No more houses of pride and war. This family… will arc above fate."

Reina Arc smiled more these days.

Mina Arc had grown too, now a powerful 6th Stage Mob and well-respected instructor across Eastern Continent.

And Ryu Arc?

He became a quiet legend living in peace. No longer a warrior—but never forgotten.

---

Ordinary, Yet Unshaken

Despite losing his strength, Ryu had something else now.

Each day, he walked with Caline in the garden. Taught her the names of flowers. Told her about the stars.

When she asked, "Papa, were you really the strongest?"

He would chuckle.

> "I was... strong enough to protect what mattered. That's all you need to know."

Caline would smile and hug his leg tightly.

Legacy of the Arc Family

The world continued to heal.

The continents rebuilt from war.

And in every major academy, the story of the man who willingly destroyed his power to save the world was taught as the pinnacle of strength—not of might, but of will.

Reina Arc, still a 7th Stage, stood as a protector of peace.

Mina Arc, ever loyal, watched over her brother's family and trained the next generation.

And Caline Arc, from a young age, showed both gentleness… and something terrifyingly unique. Her body shimmered sometimes with energy—as if two kinds of mob essence pulsed within her.

The world didn't know it yet.

But a new legend was already growing.
