Georgia's POV

I watched him smirk roguishly and said, "A kiss for the kiss marks." 

His eyes stayed locked on mine, gauging my reaction, waiting to see if I'd flinch or rise to the challenge.

I held his stare and lifted my chin slightly. Not today, Captain. I won't be the first to break.

"Just one kiss, right?" I asked coolly, pretending I wasn't already burning inside.

He grinned. "One is enough."

"Alright," I murmured. "I suppose that's fair."

His hands came up slowly, like a predator savoring the moment before a kill. His thumbs brushed my cheeks, then one grazed my lips—and I forgot how to breathe.

He leaned in and kissed me.

Of course, he lied…

It was not one kiss, but I do not mind at all. In fact, I was hoping for it.

His lips teased mine, pulling, tasting—then his teeth caught my lower lip and bit gently, sending a spark straight to my core.

I gasped.

That was his opening.
