Georgia's POV
"Have you eaten dinner?" Wendy asked the moment we stepped inside the house.
Nick gave me a soft kiss on the temple before heading to our room. "We already ate," I told her, slipping off my shoes and stretching my sore legs. "Where's Katie?"
"She's already sleeping," Wendy said with a warm smile. "She waited for you earlier but couldn't fight the sleepiness any longer. Oh, before you go to bed, have some honey lemon juice." She handed me a glass, the scent instantly soothing.
"Thank you," I said, sitting down beside her on the sofa. The first sip was divine, tangy, sweet, and comforting. "This is so refreshing. It just gave my energy back."
"With that mood, I suppose everything went well in court?" Wendy asked, studying my face.
