"I've already told you the news; it's just that you didn't seize the opportunity yourselves."

In the dark hall, a man stood silently in the shadows, his gaze fixed on the figure before him. "As per our agreement, give me what you promised."

The shadow merely snorted coldly, tossing a bottle filled with vibrant liquid from its sleeve.

The man hastily caught the bottle. Even in the darkness, the liquid inside shimmered with a faint glow.

Greed flickered in the man's eyes as he uncorked it and gently sniffed.

"Refined from the essence blood of three rare demonic beasts, it can strengthen one's bones... I didn't expect you to actually possess such a treasure," he said with a brilliant smile. "Welcome to cooperate again next time."

"Next time?" the shadow said ominously, "Are you sure King Arthur will be so careless after this?"

"It's not easy," the man carefully placed the bottle aside, then turned and said, "But there's always a way. With me, you can get news of King Arthur's actions immediately."

"However, I hope you don't come looking for me again recently," the man continued. "The palace is currently searching for traitors everywhere. If an outsider leader is discovered entering my territory... even you wouldn't want to see that, would you?"

The shadow stared coldly at the man. "Don't play any tricks. If I spread your identity, you should know the consequences."

"Of course," the man said with a composed smile. "I won't mess around, don't worry. You need me as an informant, and I want benefits from you. Isn't it good that we mutually benefit?"

"Of course, this transaction is complete. If you want new information next time, you'll have to offer sufficient benefits again," the man added.

The shadow snorted coldly, then turned and vanished from the man's sight.

Not until the shadow completely disappeared did the man quietly breathe a sigh of relief.

The other party was one of the outsider leaders, whose attack methods were quite ruthless, having massacred many Britain citizens in the past. Dealing with such a person, even a slight misstep could lead to disaster.

However, no matter how strong the other party was, they could only cooperate with him now.

After all, King Arthur was currently on the rise, and none of his Knights of the Round Table were to be trifled with. If they didn't find another way, the outsiders would sooner or later be completely wiped out by King Arthur.

The man picked up the bottle he had just obtained, his eyes showing eagerness. Once he consumed this item, his strength would be greatly enhanced in the future. Such a treasure could truly not be obtained without exchanging it for information about King Arthur.

"Who are you?!"

The man was about to turn back into the house when a sharp scream suddenly came from outside. The man's expression subtly changed, and he quickly walked outside.

It was important to remember that this was a tribal leader's house, with heavily guarded servants outside. Ordinary people simply couldn't enter it easily. Could it be that a Knight of the Round Table had come knocking?

Moonlight scattered down. Blood spurted from within the black robe of a shadowy figure, and a pale, rolling eyeball on the ground looked particularly eerie under the moonlight.

A look of astonishment appeared on the man's face as he stared at the scene before him.

Someone could eliminate an outsider leader so quickly?!

As he watched the "shadow" fall, the man gazed at the woman standing before the shadow, unable to help but exclaim: "Princess Morgan?!"

"Good evening," Morgan le Fay said, stepping over the shadow's corpse as she approached the man. "Sir Scott."

Scott's eyes flickered uncertainly. He stared at Morgan le Fay in silence for a moment, then suddenly showed a fawning smile: "Princess Morgan, what brings you here so late? Are you also here to seek cooperation?"

"Cooperation?" Morgan le Fay repeated, her eyes narrowed slightly.

"No, how could I discuss cooperation with you?" Scott knelt on one knee. "I will obey your arrangements from now on and let you control Britain. I also know some of the other tribal leaders. With a little discussion, I can persuade them to serve you and depose the current King Arthur."

Scott, having served as a tribal leader and lived to this day, naturally didn't rely solely on the status passed down by his father. More importantly, he relied on his own ability to read people and situations.

Entering his territory in the dead of night, undetected, and even killing an outsider leader—her purpose was already self-evident.

"Oh?" Morgan looked interested. "How do you intend to express your sincerity?"

Scott handed the bottle in his hand to Morgan. He remained kneeling before Morgan, like a servant presenting tribute to an empress, "This is refined from the essence blood of three rare demonic beasts. Consuming it can enhance one's physical abilities. I haven't touched it yet."

"So this is what you got from cooperating with the outsiders?" Morgan took the bottle, gently shaking it.

"It looks like something good... enhances one's power?" Morgan le Fay looked thoughtful. "If given to a child who hasn't fully grown yet, could it make him grow faster?"

Scott hesitated, then nodded heavily. "Yes, absolutely. Those three demonic beasts are all known for their strength. Let alone a child, it would be of considerable help even to you."

"It really is good stuff," Morgan le Fay said with a thoughtful expression.

"Sir Scott, are you truly willing to obey my commands completely?"

"Yes, I will swear allegiance to you," Scott knelt on the ground, his forehead touching the earth. "As proof of my loyalty, I am willing to kiss your feet and make an oath."

"Oh dear, oh dear, that's not good, is it? You're a tribal leader, after all, your status isn't much lower than mine," Morgan smiled, but as she lowered her head, she saw Scott's face nearing her foot.

Her smile slowly receded. Morgan raised her heel and kicked Scott's face.

Bang!

Scott's body flew out like a cannonball, heavily slamming onto the floor.

"Who gave you the right to make such disrespectful moves?" Although she had been smiling just moments ago, Morgan wasn't smiling at all now, coldly looking down at Scott who was struggling to get up.

"Yes, my deepest apologies." Scott immediately knelt down again after getting up, his eyes filled with fear.

Morgan le Fay sighed. "What are you afraid of? I'm not someone who likes to kill innocents indiscriminately. Given that you handed over the item you obtained through treason, I won't kill you, rest assured."

"Thank you, Princess Morgan, thank you, Princess Morgan!" A strong sense of delight flashed through Scott's eyes. He looked up, "What about King Arthur? How about I find an opportunity to lure him out under the pretense of discussing how to repel the outsiders?"

"Hmm, an excellent method, you truly are very clever," Morgan smiled. "Let's do as you say."

"Alright, clean up this corpse, and then you can go back," Morgan stepped forward and patted Scott's shoulder.

"Yes, please take care, Princess Morgan."

Scott watched Morgan le Fay disappear into the moonlight, then finally breathed a sigh of relief. The obsequious smile on his face quickly turned into one of ruthlessness.

That idiot! He couldn't even defeat that bitch, no wonder the outsiders were retreating one after another.

Scott kicked the already dead outsider leader, then turned and walked into the house, pushing open a door directly.

He quickly entered the room and grabbed the hair of a sleeping maid. "Get up! Go clean up that corpse outside!"

The maid woke up bewildered, looking at Scott in horror.

"What are you standing around for? Hurry up, or do you want to go to the grave with that corpse?" Scott said at the end, eyeing the golden-haired maid. Remembering how he had groveled before Morgan le Fay, an invisible anger surged within him, and he squeezed the maid's buttocks hard.

"Hurry up, and then come to my room to serve me, do you hear?"

The maid merely bit her lip, lowering her head and saying, "Yes."

After saying that, she turned to leave, but then she heard a scream from the man in front of her.

A poison curse slowly spread over Scott's entire body. Every pore of his body felt like it was being pricked by needles. Blood spurted from various parts of his body, splashing onto the maid. Her eyes were filled with horror, completely unaware of what was happening.

"Morgan!" Scott's eyes were bloodshot, and he screamed frantically, "I curse you to be forever unliked by the world, to be a witch for eternity! You untrustworthy bitch!"

"The world's gaze?" Morgan slowly walked into the room, shrugging indifferently. "Whatever."

She looked at Scott on the ground, then her gaze fell on the maid, gently caressing the maid with her fingers.

"From now on, you are the leader of this territory. And Scott was killed by an outsider leader who reneged on their deal after he committed treason, understood?"

The maid stared at Morgan le Fay in terror, nodding desperately.

"Yes."

---

The sunlight streamed in through the window. Asher yawned and opened his eyes.

"I really want to keep sleeping," he sighed. The thought of having to investigate the traitor today already gave him a headache.

But there was nothing he could do. This was a problem that had to be solved sooner or later. If the traitor wasn't dealt with, the outsiders' operations would have to be temporarily put on hold. If that happened, who knew what the outsiders might do in the meantime.

Asher took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and got out of bed, leaving the room.

"Sister Morgan?"

As he stepped out, he saw the woman leaning against the door, humming a song. Her golden hair naturally fell to her hips, and her fair skin looked particularly striking against the black dress.

"You look a little down?" Morgan tilted her head and glanced at Asher, her eyes gentle. She raised a finger to smooth down a few strands of hair sticking up on his head.

Asher shook his head. "It's nothing, I just didn't sleep well."

"Are you not bothered by the traitor situation?" Morgan chuckled softly, seeming to effortlessly see through Asher's worries.

Am I really being mind-read or something?

Asher thought, somewhat embarrassed.

"I've known you for over four years, and you're practically a child I've raised myself. I can probably guess a little of what's on your mind," Morgan said at the end, taking out a small bottle she had prepared earlier and handing it to Asher.

"Here, take this."

"What is this?" Asher asked instinctively.

"Something like the essence blood of three rare demonic beasts, it can strengthen your bones. Don't you want to grow up faster?" Morgan le Fay reached out and gently stroked Asher's head. "Eat more to grow up faster."

"There's a strong power contained within it," Asher said, looking at the small bottle in his hand. He could feel a terrifying power radiating from within.

"You should take it yourself, Sister Morgan," Asher handed the small bottle back to Morgan.

"You've already given me so much, I feel a little embarrassed..."

"Are you going to reject me?" Morgan asked with a smile.

Asher: "..."

Fine, I'll take it, okay?

Asher silently took back the small bottle.

"Actually, your growing up well also helps me, so don't be so polite," Morgan's tone sounded very gentle.

Asher was silent.

Does that mean King Arthur should have better self-preservation abilities...? Thinking that way, it was understandable — after all, becoming King Arthur always attracts some malicious individuals.

"After all, if your physical strength is too poor, you probably won't be able to satisfy your sister later, you know." Morgan's finger rested on her lips, her saintly green eyes captivating.

Asher: "???"

"Alright, put it away for now. I have something serious to tell you." Morgan le Fay's smile had receded somewhat.

Something serious?

Asher put away the small bottle, looking up with confusion.

"Five days from now, I want to host a masquerade ball in this palace. All the leaders will be invited."

Morgan walked to the window at the end of the corridor, then turned back and continued,

"At that time, outsiders will probably try to assassinate you in the chaos. After all, failing to make you swear an oath, they might resort to more extreme measures."

"Although your situation will be dangerous, it's also an opportunity to eliminate both the outsiders and the traitors. At the very least, we can find other traitors who conspired with the enemy."

"Do you mean for me to be the bait?" Asher pondered, weighing the pros and cons, then nodded.

"Then let's do as you say."

This was indeed an opportunity. The ball would be chaotic, and the outsiders definitely wouldn't miss this chance. After hearing this news, the hidden forces in Camelot would probably also make some moves.

"You agreed so decisively?" Morgan asked in surprise.

"If we can deal with the traitors, we can confidently drive out the outsiders," Asher said. "As for safety... with my current strength, I can handle most situations."

"You're quite confident in yourself." Morgan looked Asher up and down.

"I've always been quite confident," Asher said at the end, a hint of helplessness in his tone.

Among his peers, he feared no one, but against beings of Morgan le Fay or Scathach's level, he was still too insignificant.

However, from the strength of the outsider leader he saw that day, even if he encountered danger, he still had the ability to protect himself.

"Sister is very happy that you accepted," Morgan le Fay said seriously. "Don't worry, I will protect you well."

"And, just in case..." Morgan le Fay smiled.

"This time, I will let you and your Shishou reunite."
