That night, Asher returned to his room. Because of Morgan's presence earlier, he finally found time to address what Agravain had mentioned—only now, in the evening.

It couldn't be helped. Apparently, Morgan had noticed Asher's eagerness to handle those state affairs quickly. Just as he was about to get started, she said she wanted to be included in managing the affairs, warning him to think carefully. After all, she was the Goddess of Death, known for a notoriously bad temper—no one knew what she might do if displeased.

So Asher ultimately stayed in the palace, chatting with this enigmatic goddess.

But he didn't dislike this time. Although the occasional visitor to the hall looked wary upon seeing Morgan, Asher couldn't understand why they feared her so much.

Logically, the "witch" title was just rumor. Normally, Morgan was quite easy to get along with. He truly couldn't grasp the fear others felt toward her.

Lying on the soft bed and reflecting on the day's events, Asher yawned softly.

"Do you want to sleep?" came a sweet voice from beside him.

"Mm—" Asher started to reply, then stopped. He turned to look at the woman by the bed.

Morgan Le Fay gazed at Asher with a smile in her eyes. The soft cotton blanket gently covered her. She raised a hand from beneath the covers and stroked Asher's face. "Sleep, sister will protect you."

As Morgan reached out, the blanket slipped slightly. Asher's eyes widened. Despite trying desperately to avert his gaze, he couldn't help stealing glances at the golden-haired woman curled under the blanket.

From her tender white arm to smooth, fragrant shoulder, no clothing was visible. The answer was clear: Morgan Le Fay, lying beneath the covers, was most likely stark naked.

And the wonderful sight hidden beneath the slightly slipped blanket could be imagined without much description.

"Sister Morgan, I think it's better if you protect yourself first..." Asher swallowed quietly, trying hard to look away, but his eyes kept sneaking peeks.

"Protect myself?" Morgan looked puzzled. "Do you think anyone could threaten sister?"

"Probably not..." Asher admitted, unable to stop glancing at the two soft mounds faintly outlined beneath the covers.

"Such a pervert," Morgan chuckled softly, noticing his gaze, and stared at him teasingly.

"If you don't mind, it's alright to hug sister while you sleep?"

As she spoke, her other hand—still under the covers—took one of Asher's hands and placed it on her waist. "Hold my waist."

Even through the fabric, he felt the pleasant sensation. His heart pounded uncontrollably, and as he hugged her slender waist, he was startled.

Sensing his confusion, Morgan pulled the thin shoulder straps back onto her shoulders and teased, "Was your heart racing just now?"

Under her gaze, Asher nodded softly. "My heart was indeed racing..."

"You're quite honest today," Morgan said in surprise.

"Even if I said it wasn't, you wouldn't believe me, right?" Asher sighed.

Should he say his resistance was too weak? Or that this goddess was just too alluring?

He didn't believe Morgan hadn't noticed his look just now. More likely, she was deliberately dressed like that to tease him.

"Good, good. Sister grants you the privilege of sleeping while hugging me tonight," Morgan said, pulling him closer.

His face pressed right against Morgan's chest, fully enveloped by two soft mounds of flesh.

Seeing Asher's dazed eyes, Morgan chuckled softly. "Go to sleep quickly, or do you still want to do something else?"

Why did this goddess enjoy teasing so much?!

Asher's gaze occasionally fell on Morgan's alluring, delicate collarbone, but he finally managed to look away, sighing, "Sister Morgan, what do you gain from playing like this?"

He couldn't believe Morgan was so kind. If he tried anything, she'd surely stop him and mock him mercilessly.

"Hmm..." Morgan thought for a moment. "If I had to say, it's just because I find it very fun?"

"Don't treat teasing others as fun!" Asher said exasperatedly.

"Are you really not interested?" Morgan's voice softened a little.

Asher fell silent.

He wanted to say no, but seeing her like this, he couldn't lie.

"No answer, so you do have thoughts, huh?" Morgan teased, eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're truly a little devil, even though you're not even sixteen yet."

"I'll be sixteen in two months!" Asher said indignantly. "And lately, I feel like I'm growing taller too."

"Really?" Morgan asked, surprised.

Because they saw each other daily, it was hard to notice.

"Of course! If I keep growing for two more years, I should surpass you," Asher said proudly.

He had thought he'd be short forever after pulling out Caliburn, but recently he really felt taller. That was a huge relief.

"I look forward to it," Morgan smiled.

"What about what I said earlier? Not interested?" She brought the topic back.

"Lily might come over at dawn, or even in the middle of the night," Asher said. "She goes to bed early but wakes early too, and comes straight to my room after waking."

"So you should go back first?" Asher asked carefully.

Morgan was silent.

The moment Asher finished speaking, her enthusiasm vanished.

She had no interest in doing anything with Asher while her sister watched.

Others didn't matter, but with Lily, she had to be cautious.

Sneaking around was one thing, but if Lily knew her elder sister sneaked into Arthur's room at night, her beautiful sister image would be destroyed.

Moreover, if Asher married Lily later, and Lily remembered what her sister and husband did, her favorability might drop or she might turn dark.

That would ruin Morgan's monogamy plan.

"Sister Morgan?" Seeing her still silent, Asher called again.

"I'll go back later. You sleep first," Morgan said, her smile fading. Although somewhat helpless, she decided to endure it a while longer.

Of course, if Asher couldn't resist, that would be an act of God.

Morgan thought this, her ample chest still resting against Asher's. She looked into his eyes but saw he had already fallen asleep.

"This guy falls asleep too fast, huh?"

Morgan couldn't resist pinching his face gently.

But sometimes, this was good.

Her eyes softened. She held him close, enjoying the warmth.

---

The next morning.

Morgan stood before the long corridor, her expression cold as usual. Though stunning, none of the passing attendants dared meet her gaze. They quickened their pace, fearing the wrath of Britain's princess.

But in truth, because of last night's events, Morgan was in a very good mood. It was just that no one dared approach her, giving an invisible pressure that made people think she was in a bad mood.

"Mother," Agravain began early work, walking along the corridor into the hall, and happened upon Morgan.

"Encounter any trouble?" he asked quietly.

Though he disliked her, Morgan's role was significant. What she had implemented so far benefited Britain. He felt he should help solve her problems if possible.

Morgan seemed to recall yesterday's events. She gave Agravain a cold glance. "None of your business."

"You can't help me either."

Agravain raised an eyebrow, bristling at her disdain. His expression serious, he said, "Just tell me who you want me to deal with."

"Deal with?" Morgan repeated playfully, then said faintly, "I told you, you can't deal with it. Mind your own business."

"By the way, one more thing," she turned to him, eyes cold.

"Don't come to the hall to bother Arthur over every little thing. He has other matters."

"Other matters?" Agravain frowned. "What could be more important than daily state affairs? Lately in town—"

"You and the others can handle those trivial matters. Only come to him for things truly unmanageable. Arthur has more to do than you imagine," Morgan interrupted. "Enough. Withdraw."

Her gaze was venomous, so fierce Agravain bit back words and nodded softly.

Morgan looked up at the sky, murmuring, He should be awake by now, right?

She turned and walked toward Asher's room.

Agravain watched her leave, muttering, "That woman is truly hard to understand."

Gawain, approaching quietly, looked after Morgan with a deep gaze. "Probably because what you said hit a nerve."

"I want to help her clear obstacles and make Britain prosper. Is that wrong?" Agravain frowned. "And saying Arthur has other things to do is truly strange."

Gawain smiled bitterly, thinking that if he tried to solve Mother's problems, the foreigners would probably be back the next day.

No... The first to throw Britain into chaos would probably be Mother herself.

Only because Arthur was in charge did she slightly restrain her usual ruthless ways. If Arthur were gone... Gawain couldn't imagine the horrors to come.
