----------------------------------------------------------

The night was quiet, and silvery white light poured down from the dark sky. Uathach gently brushed a strand of hair from her ear, her hands behind her back, walking beside Asher with uneven steps.

"Are you mad?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

"Not at all," Asher shook his head. "I just dragged you out to avoid more trouble."

"More trouble?" Uathach rested a finger on her chin. "Like everyone calling out the name of the same liked person just now?"

Asher: "..."

Does sister really not know the truth? He complained in his heart.

Asher had never quite understood his sister since their time in the Land of Shadows. Although the girl sometimes seemed foolishly cute, she often appeared to

see through everything.

You think she's a fool, but in reality, from the moment you started treating her as a fool, you were already being played by her.

"Actually, I think the most troublesome thing is that I happened to see Mom dressed so alluringly and alone in a room with my fiance, right?" Uathach looked at Asher with a smiling expression.

Asher's heart skipped a beat, and he suddenly had a very

bad premonition.

"Ash, I'll ask you again now," Uathach's steps slowed considerably. Although she maintained a smile, there was no hint of mirth in her eyes. In the dim light, those purple pupils seemed to have lost their original luster.

"Do you like Mom?"

So, is sister really not asking this on purpose because she already knows something?!

Asher almost tripped and fell. He stopped in his tracks, and Uathach also stopped. Under the moonlight, the girl's clear purple eyes stared intently at Asher.

Calm down, just answer calmly.

"O-of course, she's my Shishou..." Asher said, then turned his head, pretending to look at the scenery.

Uathach stared intently at Asher's profile, then quickly smiled casually, "Is that so."

For some reason, seeing this smile, Asher always felt like he had been seen through.

Uathach looked deeply at Asher, then gave a small yawn,

"Why did you call me out? If there's nothing, I'll go back now."

Asher then came back to his senses, shaking his head, "I just wanted to end the game from earlier."

As he spoke, he couldn't help but glance at his sister again.

"Don't worry, the game in the room just now was just for my amusement; I won't play it again," Uathach tilted her head slightly, looking at Asher who was still standing rooted to the spot. "Also, the question just now was just teasing; I believe you and Mom won't do anything, after all, you're my fiance."

In the dim light, Uathach's smile was faint, and she left with her hands behind her back.

After Uathach left, Asher remained in a daze.

It wasn't until a cold gust of wind blew past that Asher shivered, snapping out of his daze.

Why did he always feel that his sister already knew something?

But it shouldn't be the case.

Asher believed that everything he had done so far should have been quite discreet, and Shishou hadn't revealed anything suspicious.

It was probably just a delusion.

Asher shook his head, no longer thinking about it.

Another gust of cold wind, mixed with a slight chill, blew past. Asher looked up at the shivering leaves in the cold wind, feeling a sense of confusion.

The weather shouldn't be this cold today, should it?

Forget it, he should just go back to his room soon.

Asher slightly put away his inner doubts, turned to go back to his room, but after only two steps, a bone-chilling cold suddenly swept over him from behind, and a bright light flared up.

He suddenly turned his head to look, and a strong gust of wind, accompanied by a sharp weapon, pierced towards him.

Asher slightly dodged the attack, and the weapon shot straight through the large tree behind him.

Asher raised his hand, about to counterattack, but upon seeing the appearance of his assailant, his movement abruptly stopped.

"So it's Shishou. Is this testing my anti-sneak attack ability?"

A woman in a snow-blue long dress stood in front of Asher. She wore a crown on her head, and her legs were encased in stockings that reached just up to her thighs, making her exceptionally noticeable even in the dim garden.

Moonlight poured down, and her robes seemed to shimmer in the silver light, like a true goddess.

"Weren't you in the room just now? Didn't you run into Sister Uathach on the way here?" Asher continued to ask.

Scathach gave Asher a strange look, tilting her head slightly, a hint of confusion in her red eyes.

"Sister and I talked about a lot of things just now. I always feel like she's discovered something," Asher sighed to himself, walked up to Scathach , and took the woman's hand.

"Shishou, shouldn't we find an opportunity to clarify things with sister?"

Uathach's previous words made Asher feel inexplicably uneasy. He always felt that if things continued like this, it wouldn't be long before his sister discovered the truth.

If that happened, everything would be too late.

"Oh? Clarify things with sister?" Scathach repeated, a hint of amusement in her eyes.

"How do you want to say it?"

Asher was startled, then sighed deeply again, "Let's test her first. Otherwise, this isn't a solution."

Asher felt that explaining things to Uathach sooner was better than her discovering it herself later. Tonight, perhaps sister hadn't completely grown suspicious, but if sister continued to live in the palace, there would eventually be a day when she found out.

Rather than that, it would be better to test sister's thoughts first.

Scathach looked at the young man in front of her, her mouth slightly open, about to speak, but at that moment, Asher had already taken her hand, staring at her face and saying, "I like Shishou. I will find a time to explain this to sister; I won't make things difficult for you."

"What are you suddenly doing."

Before Scathach could finish her sentence, Asher wrapped his arm around the woman's slender waist, looked up at her, and said, "Shishou."

Scathach 's expression stiffened slightly as she watched Asher's lips slowly approach.

Without giving Scathach another chance to think, those soft lips pressed against hers.

Scathach 's pupils slowly widened, as if she had encountered something incredible.

It feels a bit strange...

Asher stared at the woman in his arms. For some reason, he felt an indescribable sense of strangeness.

If it were Shishou, she would usually be more proactive in returning the kiss, but tonight, she was like a novice.

Is it because of Sister Uathach's matter?

"What are you doing?"

As Asher thought of this, a cold voice suddenly came from behind him. Asher had heard this voice hundreds of times; it was the woman who had haunted his dreams, the woman now in his arms.

...The woman in his arms?

Asher was startled. He looked at the woman in his arms, then turned to look at the woman standing not far away, dressed in a tight-fitting outfit with a frosty expression.

How could there be two Shishous?!
