After leaving the audience hall, Asher walked down the long corridor for a while and finally arrived at his room.

This room had been somewhat damaged due to Vivian earlier, but it had now been repaired. When he pushed open the door, Asher saw an unexpected person in the room.

"Why did you come into someone else's room without permission?" Asher looked at the woman sitting on the chair. It was Skadi, who had just left with Artoria. "Lily should have taken you to your room to rest, right?" Could this woman be trying to talk to me in private, to make me agree to her condition? Asher thought with a hint of wariness.

"I wanted to talk to you again, so I had her bring me to your room to wait for you... So, you call her Lily?" Skadi showed a thoughtful expression. "Earlier, when I heard her mention you, her expression seemed a bit subtle. You wouldn't happen to have some kind of relationship with her too, would you?"

"Relationship too? Why does that sound so strange when you say it? Do you have some misunderstanding about me?" Asher casually placed his cloak aside as he spoke.

"Misunderstanding, you say?" Skadi tilted her head slightly and crossed her legs. "I don't think there's any misunderstanding. Aren't you just the guy who's secretly in a more-than-lover relationship with his fiance and his fiance's mother, and also has an intimate relationship with that goddess of death?"

"But it doesn't matter anyway," she added. Seeing Asher about to speak, she smiled casually and continued, "As for your relationship with your Shishou, I know it without you even explaining. I've vaguely guessed this kind of thing for a long time."

"Dreams?" Asher asked. For some reason, Skadi could dream of some of Scathach's experiences and certain thoughts. Similarly, Scathach seemed to have encountered similar situations before.

Skadi was noncommittal, nodding slightly. "People who have lived longer, besides fighting and seeking death, it's understandable that they'd want to find other exciting things to do while hiding from their daughters. That woman is such a lonely individual." Asher walked to the head of the bed and sat down, saying faintly, "You're probably not much younger than Shishou either, are you?"

"I think I just heard something amazing," Skadi narrowed

her eyes. After staring at Asher for a long time, she suddenly smiled. "But since you're standing up for your Shishou, I'll let it slide this time. I'll pay attention next time. Similarly, I don't want you to bring up age again."

"After all," she switched which leg was crossed, "for a god, age is completely irrelevant. My skin's smoothness is even better than your Shishou's. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call me a blooming young girl."

Asher shook his head. "I think Shishou's is better."

"You're not being sincere at all," Skadi sighed.

"That's my Shishou, of course hers is better," Asher said.

"Besides, she exercises every day, so her skin wouldn't be worse than yours."

"You really don't know how to please women," Skadi

"Tched."

"I'm just being honest," Asher shrugged. He truly didn't care about Skadi's favorability. The so-called 'salty fish' is someone who is easily satisfied with the status quo and too lazy to change it. For Asher, having Shishou was already enough.

However, Skadi seemed very unconvinced. After glaring at Asher several times, she walked over and sat down next to him.

"Wh-what are you doing?" Being intensely stared at by those oppressive eyes, Asher suddenly became a little flustered. Fortunately, he had been honed by Scathach for a long time, otherwise he would probably have averted his gaze under Skadi's aggressive stare.

"Don't you think I'm inferior to your Shishou? Then why don't you confirm it yourself?" Skadi's eyes seemed to burn with fighting spirit. "Use your own hands to confirm it. See whose skin is better, or whose skin is smoother."

"Forget it, I'm not interested," Asher turned his face away.

"Really?" Skadi's lips curved into a teasing smile.

"Fake," Asher said. "But I think you must have something important to tell me, that's why you're staying in my room, instead of this meaningless comparison," he said again. Asher was no saint. When Skadi suddenly proposed something almost equivalent to a doujinshi development, to say he wasn't tempted would be a lie.

However... between his 'salty fish' life and beauty, he still felt his life was more important. He knew that Lily had brought Skadi to the room just now, and Lily would definitely tell Morgan later.

If Skadi stayed in the room for too long, and Morgan and Shishou came together, it was needless to say what tonight would turn out like. The worst case would be training with Scathach all night in the training ground, with Morgan mentally tormenting him, and Lily and Uathach giving him disdainful looks. Even in the best case, he would probably be squeezed by Morgan and Scathach until his back and knees ached the next day. It sounded wonderful, but if he actually experienced it, he wouldn't think so. Asher already had a deep psychological shadow from it.

"Hmm, I do have something important to discuss with you," Skadi nodded slightly. "I've thought about it briefly and decided to start teaching you the correct way to absorb the staff's energy from today onwards."

Asher was startled and subconsciously said, "I haven't agreed to be your subject yet."

"It doesn't matter. My condition for you to become my subject was just hoping you'd cooperate with me a little.

I'll teach you regardless," Skadi said flatly.

"Why?" Asher asked. "Why are you helping me so much?"

"I'll tell you the reason later. Now isn't the time. But don't worry, I won't eat you."

"Hmm," Asher pondered for a moment. "But it's unsettling if you don't explain why..." Skadi's face gained a hint of a sadistic smile. "Why are you so verbose? I'm going to give you good things for free, you know? Could it be that the great King Arthur is actually afraid of a weak woman like me?"

Asher nodded. "Yes, I'm afraid."

Skadi: "..."

"You're truly too much. You just kissed someone last night, and now you're turning your back on them right away. What a scumbag," Skadi said after a moment, recovering from her initial daze. She raised her hand and placed it on Asher's face, her moist eyes gazing into his.

"I can teach you anything, you know? Besides absorbing the staff's magic normally, I can also help you with other practices."

"Yes," Skadi slightly pulled up her skirt, revealing a small section of her smooth, fair thigh. "For example, after class, I can help you practice kissing and such..."

"Not interested," Asher shook his head. The last person who said they wanted to practice kissing probably had grass five meters high on their grave by now. Moreover, Asher had only felt strange before, but Skadi's recent actions made him even more suspicious. Why was she going to such lengths to help him? There's no such thing as a free lunch. Unless he understood her purpose, he wouldn't accept this favor.

Asher stood up. "I think you should consider it tonight. If you can clearly explain your reason for helping me tomorrow, perhaps I'll agree to accept your guidance."

"Wait a minute! Why won't you believe me? Didn't I say I'd tell you the reason later?!" Skadi's voice rose a few octaves.

"Good night," Asher said. However, Skadi remained seated on the bed, showing no intention of leaving. Asher glanced at her. Skadi raised her eyes and said faintly,

"Tell me if you change your mind. I won't leave the room until you agree."

Should I say she's truly a woman who has lived long? She seems to have a thick skin too... Asher had just thought of this when he quickly changed his mind. Because he saw Skadi looking down, a shy blush coloring her face.

Clearly, saying such words made her feel very embarrassed herself.

"There's no other way," Asher sighed.

"You agreed?" Skadi rejoiced. As she looked up, she felt her body floating in mid-air, and she let out a cry of surprise. Asher ignored Skadi's cry, carried Skadi out of the room, and placed her on the carpet at the doorway.

"Good night." He closed the door, leaving Skadi sitting on the floor, bewildered, staring at the closed door.
