"He went back?" By the time Scathach returned to the room, Asher was nowhere to be seen. Only Uathach sat by the head of the bed, her eyelids slightly lowered, her delicate white toes tapping the floor idly.
Her pink and white nails gleamed with a jelly-like translucence under the moonlight. Considering that the fish might have been turned into fish fillets by her daughter, Scathach even scanned the room, but detected no trace of Asher's presence. Hmm, it seemed her disciple was still alive.
"He went back," Uathach said casually. "I sent him back."
Scathach's mouth was slightly agape. She actually wanted to ask her daughter what she had done to Asher earlier, but seeing the frustration and annoyance in the maiden's dim purple eyes, she held back. To be honest, she would rather engage in a fierce battle with a strong opponent right now than face her daughter. But there was nothing she could do, because of this cursed matter of establishing a Queen. If she didn't come clean now, it would probably be even harder to speak about it later.
Uathach looked thoughtful, then looked up and asked, "Mother, do you like Ash?" Scathach remained silent, merely gazing at her daughter. Then, she took a step forward and embraced the maiden. Uathach was startled, feeling the warmth of the embrace. She looked up at Scathach.
Ah... those accursed breasts. Scathach gently stroked the still-recovering Uathach, whispering, "The Britain conference starts the day after tomorrow. I'll talk to your brother and have your wedding date moved up. You'll stay and be the Queen."
Uathach was stunned for a moment before she came back to her senses, and couldn't help but ask, "You don't mind, Mother?" Scathach shook her head and said, "This marriage was decided long ago.
There's nothing to mind, and..." She paused slightly, "Even though you found out about my relationship with your brother, you didn't expose it and endured it silently... It must have been difficult for you during this time."
Uathach froze, then quickly shook her head and said, "It's fine... it's fine..." By now, she was too embarrassed to say that she was just excited when she saw her fiance and her mother kissing, which was why she didn't expose them.
"Why do you look unhappy? Or have you stopped liking Ash now?" Scathach observed Uathach, asking curiously.
"No, I'm just thinking about other things," Uathach frantically waved her small hands. "After Ash and I get married, Mother can take him whenever she wants." "I'm serious," she said again.
Scathach looked at Uathach with a complicated expression, simply stroking her daughter's hair without saying anything more. However, the faint glimmer in her red eyes precisely proved that her heart was not calm at this moment.

In Morgan's alchemy lab, Morgan silently gazed at the maiden standing before her and asked softly, "Are you serious?" Artoria nodded gently, looking at Morgan le Fay and saying, "I've decided. I want to be the Queen."
"Is that so?" Morgan said, then withdrew her gaze and continued to casually concoct potions. Artoria couldn't help but ask, "Are you really indifferent, Imperial Sister?"
"It's fine, I support your decision," Morgan said. "If you need any help, just come to me. I will help you with anything."
"But you..." Artoria looked as if she had more to say but held back.
"Lily, I told you a long time ago, didn't I?" Morgan's potion-mixing hand paused slightly. She turned to look at the maiden beside her. "I have always supported your relationship with Ash."
"The person I like is not him, nor is it you," Morgan slowly said this, then looked into Artoria's eyes. "It's you two."
"So, don't worry about my feelings. Rather, it would give me a headache if Ash's final choice for Queen wasn't you." Artoria's mouth slightly opened, but she ultimately bit back the words she wanted to say. Was Morgan too confident, or did Morgan trust her too much? Artoria didn't understand.
Was her imperial sister not afraid that if she became Queen, she would tell Asher to stay away from Morgan, or something similar...? After all, she was someone very prone to jealousy. When she saw her imperial sister doing that to the underage Ash in that secret room before, she was quite conflicted.
Seeing this, Morgan couldn't help but sigh softly, "It seems you still don't quite believe me?" She put down the potion bottle in her hand, stepped closer, and cupped Artoria's face. A strand of platinum blonde hair brushed against Artoria's face, making the maiden instinctively look up and stare at Morgan's deep, alluring eyes, instinctively calling out, "Imperial Sister?"
"I said, I don't just like one person," Morgan leaned down slightly, her moist lips slightly parted. In Artoria's widening pupils, they touched her lips. Completely different from kissing Asher, the lips of the Imperial Sister whom Artoria respected were not fervent, but very soft. Without feeling anything more, Morgan released her lips, and her alluring little tongue licked her moist lips.
"Do you understand?" she looked at Artoria again and asked. Whether it was being shocked by her respected Imperial Sister's action, or simply not having recovered yet, Artoria subconsciously nodded.
"Then stand up straight," Morgan's fingertip lifted Artoria's chin. The maiden was almost naturally pushed against the wall by Morgan. The woman slightly raised her toes, her thigh resting below Artoria's abdomen. She leaned in, almost pressing her chest against Artoria's, their two soft forms slightly deformed by the pressure.
Then, Morgan said in a deeply seductive voice, "If you want to be Queen, be more assertive. Just relying on the knight's code... won't make you Queen." Artoria's cheeks slowly flushed under Morgan's gaze. She felt her earlobes burning and nodded heavily.
"Then go back for now. Prepare well, and I will assist you." Morgan released her hand and stepped back two paces, seemingly completely unfazed by her sister's now blushing face, as if what she had just done was the most normal thing. And it truly was quite normal, at least for Morgan. After all, what Morgan had done to Skadi before was far more extreme than this.
Knock, knock. At this moment, someone lightly knocked on the alchemy lab door. Then, Asher's voice came. "I'm coming in, Sister Morgan." After Asher pushed the door open, he sensed two gazes staring directly at him. He couldn't help but be startled, thinking, Why is this atmosphere so strange? Since Scathach couldn't help, he had planned to come to Morgan with a "nothing to lose" attitude, but now it seemed like he had just wasted his time.
"Is there something you need, Ash?" Morgan asked with a smile. Feeling Morgan's playful gaze and Artoria's determined look, as if she had made some decision, Asher took a step back. "Nothing... I, I took the wrong turn!"
After saying that, he turned and left. The people he usually relied on were all unreliable now. Even without further conversation, Asher could vaguely sense that the atmosphere between those two was clearly off. Clearly, it was not the right time to talk with Morgan.
After returning to his room, Asher lay on the bed, a faint pain in his abdomen. Sister Uathach was really ruthless earlier... But there was nothing he could do. Originally, he had expected his sister to peel his skin off. The current situation was already quite good for him.
Although Uathach had said something earlier: "Don't think this is over." Clearly, the maiden held quite a grudge and had no intention of letting things go.
Shishou is unreliable, and Sister Morgan is unreliable. So, is Skadi the only one left? Asher felt utterly helpless. In the past, whenever he encountered any difficulty, Scathach or Morgan could always help him solve it, but with this matter of establishing a Queen, they were all unreliable.
Even without going to Shishou again, he could probably guess that since Shishou had already told his sister about their relationship, she was definitely planning to move up the wedding date. And on the other side, Morgan... judging by the atmosphere just now, it was clear that Morgan was also plotting something nefarious.
"So I told you I'd help you, why did you go looking for others? Do you really think Scathach or that goddess can help you?"
A sudden voice came from behind, startling Asher, and he quickly turned his head. Skadi was sitting by the head of the bed, looking casual, gazing down at him with a faint smile, slowly saying, "You should understand your situation now, shouldn't you?" Asher didn't say anything, just asked, "How did you get in?"
"I simply broke through the magical array you set up, and then simply opened the door," Skadi said.
"That's not simple at all, is it?" Asher couldn't help but retort. Ever since he was ambushed by Artoria last time, Asher had been cautious, setting up a barrier in his room every time he went out. But now that he thought about it, it was still very easy for the other party to get in if they really wanted to.
"You even went to Scathach and Morgan le Fay. Are you not planning to abide by our previous agreement?" Skadi asked, staring at Asher.
"I just wanted an extra layer of insurance," Asher said, sitting up while holding his stomach, and looked up, "By the way, how did you know I went to see Shishou and Sister?"
"I saw you being sneaky earlier, so I was curious and secretly followed you," Skadi said. Asher blinked, thought for a moment, and said, "Stalker?"
"This is called being prepared! To prevent you from backing out. If Scathach or Morgan had agreed to help you today, would you have broken your word and abandoned me?" Skadi asked, grabbing Asher's collar.
Why did that sound like a boyfriend in a relationship
preparing to heartlessly abandon his girlfriend? Asher slapped her hand away and said helplessly, "I told you, it's just about being prepared. How could I go back on my word?"
"Then what about now?" Skadi raised her hand and placed it on Asher's face, a joyous smile appearing on her face.
"Do you feel surrounded by danger?" Asher nodded silently. Indeed, the current situation was quite unfavorable for him. He had to endure until the conference began the day after tomorrow, and during this period, it was an ordeal for Asher.
"Now you know the gravity of the problem, don't you?"
The smile on Skadi's face became increasingly bright and captivating. She put down her staff, crossed her stocking-clad legs, cupped Asher's face, and her red eyes gazed into his. "Thank me. I'm your only reliable ally now, you know."
"Should I be grateful to you?"
"No need, just letting me see Odin after this is enough."
Skadi's tone was quite resentful towards the end. "It's just seeing that person once, why is it so difficult?"
"Perhaps he doesn't want to see you?" Asher said tentatively. Skadi smiled, "Oh dear, what are you suddenly saying? How could such a thing be possible, right?" Her hand pinched Asher's cheek. "G-gently... I was just kidding."
Skadi then released her hand. Asher inwardly clicked his tongue. This violent goddess, if it weren't for the fact that he still needed her help afterwards, he probably would have been unable to resist subduing this goddess just now.
"Anyway, I'll help you the day after tomorrow, so rest assured. Only I can be relied on now, and you should know that very well." Skadi stood up. "Don't forget our agreement."
With that, she left the room. After seeing Skadi off, Asher let out a long sigh. He truly wished this matter would end soon and he could return to his peaceful life.
The fatigue of the entire day swept over his mind. Asher quickly felt drowsiness coming on and fell asleep without even covering himself with a blanket.
As soon as he fell asleep, a dignified voice rang out: "I never agreed to see her, Asher. Your actions this time displease me greatly." Asher opened his eyes. The man in the black robe sat quietly to the side, his tone clearly expressing displeasure.
"I think since she's so persistent in wanting to see you, there's no harm in fulfilling her wish, is there? Don't you treat her like a daughter?" Asher said.
"You're just saying that because you want her to help you, aren't you?" Odin glanced sideways at Asher. "Very
well, I will arrange a time to see her."
"You agreed?" Asher asked, somewhat overjoyed. He had thought it would take some time to persuade this King of Gods, but he agreed so readily.
"I've thought about it carefully. Seeing her once could put her mind at ease, so there's no harm," Odin paused slightly, then continued, "However, letting her help you... you will regret it."
Asher smiled, "No, I won't. I've thought about this plan carefully, and there's no risk involved." Odin said meaningfully, "Very well, I'm quite confident leaving that child to you."
"We're just putting on an act," Asher explained. "You should know that, right?" Odin chuckled, "Perhaps."
"Hmm hmm, indeed, indeed, there's no risk, it's very good, a very good plan!" Merlin, who was beside them, also started laughing. As the three laughed, Asher suddenly turned to look at the white-haired mage beside him, "When did you sneak in?!"
"I just accidentally slipped in earlier, ehe~ o(???)o" Merlin tapped his head, trying to play dumb. Asher looked at Odin. Odin nodded slightly, raised his hand.
Slap!
"Get out." He slapped Merlin out of the dream.
