Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 Night of Arrival

Sheremetyevo Airport, Russia.

Thick snow was falling, and the night wind sent shivers down the spine.

Through the snow emerged a young man.

A black coat, a travel bag in hand,

and eyes carrying fatigue and shadows of unknown sorrow.

His name—

Ji-Han Min, a Korean youth,

taking his first steps ever in Moscow.

After getting out of the taxi, he checked the address and headed straight

towards Black Star Modeling Studio.

As he opened the studio door,

a dazzling world of lights struck his eyes.

Flashes from cameras, music,

and a girl standing on the ramp—

Her presence made Ji-Han freeze in silence.

Her name—

Jasmine Olga Rovona.

Russia's famous supermodel.

Cold as ice in beauty,

eyes reflecting deep sorrow,

and every pose of her body carrying a mysterious allure.

She posed perfectly.

No smile,

just cold elegance and silent strength.

The moment her eyes met Ji-Han's,

time seemed to stop for a second.

Jasmine sensed it,

but quickly composed herself.

As soon as the shoot ended,

Jasmine stood in front of the dressing mirror, adjusting her hair.

At that moment—

a cold male voice floated from behind.

"Olga…"

Jasmine's hand trembled.

A hair clip fell to the floor.

Slowly turning around, she saw—

a man in a black suit, sharp eyes,

face expressionless, standing there.

Dimitri Orlov.

A powerful Russian mafia boss.

One whose face Jasmine did not even wish to see.

"You've been avoiding me, Jasmine,"

Orlov said, a threatening smile in his voice.

But today, Jasmine was no longer one to back down.

She lifted her eyes,

her voice cold and sharp—

"Убирайся отсюда.

Таких мерзких, как ты, я ещё не видела."

("Get out. I've never seen someone as vile as you in my life.")

Orlov froze.

The entire studio fell silent.

Jasmine grabbed her white fur coat,

her bag in hand,

and swiftly walked out of the studio.

Outside, the snowy street glowed under yellow lights,

her breath rising like mist.

She walked alone—

white coat on her shoulders, eyes filled with anger and pain.

Ji-Han stood at the door, watching everything.

He felt—

there was a strange darkness behind this girl.

And he didn't know—

on this snowy night,

his arrival and Jasmine's daring escape

would bind their fates together.

---

Snow fell silently outside.

Under the streetlights,

Jasmine took deep breaths.

Her eyes held anger, pain, and a strange fear.

Suddenly—

A familiar, gentle voice came from behind.

"Jasmine…!"

She froze.

Her feet wouldn't move.

Her heart skipped a beat.

Slowly, very slowly, Jasmine turned around.

There stood—

Ji-Han Min.

Recognition shone in his eyes,

surprise and happiness on his face—as if he had been searching for this girl for years.

Ji-Han stepped slightly closer.

"Jasmine… how are you?"

A strange expression crossed Jasmine's face.

Anger, fear, sorrow—all blending into

a soft, surprised glow.

She whispered,

"Ah… Ji-Han Min?

You… you're here?"

Her voice trembled slightly,

as if she had found someone she had missed for years.

Snow continued falling between them.

The street was silent.

Yet at this moment—

a storm began in both their hearts.

Jasmine stepped closer and stopped right in front of Ji-Han.

Disbelief and a hint of…

emotion in her eyes.

For a few seconds, she stared at him.

Snow landed on her hair, the cold wind brushing her cheeks,

but her eyes showed only one feeling—

fear.

Ji-Han asked gently,

"What happened, Jasmine? Are you alright?"

Jasmine swallowed hard.

Her lips trembled.

In a broken voice, she said slowly—

"What can I say, Ji-Han…

I'm in danger… in serious danger.

You don't know…"

Ji-Han stepped closer.

"What kind of danger? Who's after you?"

Jasmine glanced around—

the street was empty, yet she felt

someone lurking in the shadows.

Her voice lowered further—

"Dimitri Orlov…

He won't let me go.

I've been trying to escape him…

and now—"

She couldn't finish her sentence.

Her gaze dropped.

Her breath visible in the cold mist.

Ji-Han gently placed his hand on her shoulder.

Jasmine froze for a moment at his touch—

as if finding safety after many years.

"Look at me,"

Ji-Han said.

Jasmine slowly lifted her eyes.

Ji-Han spoke calmly—

"Jasmine, you're not alone.

I'm here. Whatever happens…

you can tell me."

Tears welled up in Jasmine's eyes—

but she shook her head firmly.

"No, you wouldn't understand…

It's not just the mafia, Ji-Han…

Behind it is—

the 'Black Archive'.

An old secret operation…

and I am at its center."

At that moment—

the roar of a black SUV engine echoed down the street.

The sound of the engine grew frighteningly close.

Jasmine's face turned pale.

She whispered—

"They're here…"

---

The black SUV's engine approached the street.

Jasmine wanted to run,

but the icy ground made her feet slip.

Ji-Han held her hand tightly.

"Stay still, don't move," he said.

Slowly, they moved toward a small, dark garage at the side of the alley.

Jasmine shivered silently,

while Ji-Han scanned their surroundings, checking if anyone had seen them.

The SUV stopped at the corner of the street.

From a distance, Orlov's men got out.

Their voices sounded tense, harsh orders echoing.

Jasmine pressed her hand to her nose, taking shallow breaths.

"Ji-Han… they're looking for us. I know how they work.

We don't have even a second to spare."

Ji-Han tilted his head, reassuring her—

"I'm here, Jasmine. We'll get out together."

They both hid deeper in the dark corner of the garage.

Orlov's men slowly approached from outside.

The crunch of their footsteps on the snow could be heard.

Jasmine whispered—

"Ji-Han… if they catch me… they…"

Her sentence remained unfinished,

but the expression in her eyes said it all—this was a life-or-death moment.

Ji-Han quietly held her hand,

"Shh… don't move for even a moment.

We'll get out. I'll keep you safe."

Their breaths mingled, spreading like mist.

For a moment, the SUV's lights flickered.

Jasmine and Ji-Han hid deeper,

their eyes burning with a newfound determination—

this night, they would survive together, no matter the fear or death awaiting them.

Jasmine and Ji-Han tried to step out of the dark garage.

Their breaths mixed with the icy air, spreading like mist.

Suddenly—

The shadow, with golden hair, piercing blue eyes, and a burning cigarette in hand, stopped right in front of them.

Jasmine's eyes widened,

her heart freezing for a moment.

The shadow stared at them slowly,

and in a cold voice spoke in Russian—

"А… ты… А-… что ты здесь делаешь?"

("Ah… you… A-… what are you doing here?")

Jasmine held Ji-Han's hand tightly.

Her eyes showed fear, but determination—a mix of both.

At that moment—

a deep, commanding voice echoed.

"Стой! Отойди, это приказ!"

("Stop! Step back, that's an order!")

The presence of a bodyguard halted the shadow in its tracks.

The golden-haired, blue-eyed figure lingered for a moment,

its faint, mysterious smile fading,

and the smoke from the cigarette drifted into the air.

Under the bodyguard's strict gaze, the shadow slowly stepped back,

said nothing, only stared at them briefly.

Then—

like smoke, it melted into the darkness of the alley.

Jasmine and Ji-Han stood frozen together.

Jasmine whispered,

"Ji-Han… they… they didn't catch us directly… but they've marked us."

Ji-Han nodded.

"You're right. This night is only the beginning, Jasmine.

From now on, we have to be even more careful."

The shadow's presence, along with the bodyguard's intervention, reminded them—

they were no ordinary people now.

This was the night of a secret battle,

where life and death were just within reach.
