Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: Vampire City Infiltration

Only 31,000 abstract points?

Isn't that disappointingly low?

When he heard the system message, Victor frowned in dissatisfaction with the result.

He had just used his spiritual consciousness to count the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and there were exactly one hundred of them.

On average, each horseman had given him only thirty-one abstract points.

They looked so imposing and fierce with their oppressive aura, and this was the result?

It's like sending a eunuch to guard the imperial harem, completely useless!

Standing nearby, Shinoa Hiiragi stared in shock at the endless abyss in front of her.

Is this the terrifying power of an immortal cultivator?

Too overwhelming!

Although she had heard about Victor's strength from other group members, she was still stunned to see it firsthand.

"Let's go. Time to go to the next place."

"Uh... where's the next place?"

Shinoa snapped back to reality and looked at Victor with newfound respect in her eyes.

Victor's lips curved into an evil smile. "Of course, it's the vampire stronghold in Nagoya!"

In Nagoya, within the third largest vampire city in the world, Sangunem.

Vampire Queen Krul Tepes, who had been sitting on her throne pretending to take a nap, suddenly sensed something was wrong. She opened her crimson eyes abruptly and felt a chill that made her shiver involuntarily.

"What's happening? Why do I feel like I'm being watched by some terrifying being?"

Krul furrowed her delicate brows and scanned the area with her blood-red gaze.

After a moment, she let her guard down.

"It must be my imagination."

This was Sangunem, who could possibly be a threat to her here?

Those traitorous nobles under her command?

Or perhaps that worthless Japanese Imperial Demon Army?

It had to be an illusion.

With that thought, Krul rested her chin on one hand and closed her eyes again.

While the petite queen continued her pretended rest, she was unaware that two individuals with questionable intentions had already infiltrated Sangunem.

"So this is a vampire city?"

Shinoa looked around curiously.

The interconnected but somewhat dirty streets, the low but sturdy stone buildings, and the massive palace at the center created a scene that felt like medieval Europe, if one could ignore the solid rock ceiling above.

This was Shinoa's first time in a vampire city.

She had never imagined that vampires could build such a huge underground metropolis.

But soon her attention was drawn to a group of children.

"Are those children in white the 'cattle' raised by the vampires?"

Victor nodded grimly. "That is correct."

After the Apocalypse, the human population had been drastically reduced.

The vampires, who relied on human blood for sustenance, also faced food shortages.

To prevent famine, vampires began collecting human children who had survived the apocalypse shortly after the outbreak, and kept them in captivity as living blood banks.

These were known as "livestock.

"Damn those vile vampires..."

Seeing these children with needles and tubes covering their bodies, Shinoa couldn't contain her anger and clenched her fists tightly.

"Outsiders?"

The two walked boldly through the streets and soon encountered several patrolling vampires.

When the vampires spotted Victor and Shinoa, they immediately confirmed that they weren't 'livestock'.

Because their livestock wasn't that big!

Except for a few specimens kept for breeding purposes, most livestock were killed before they reached adulthood.

Vampires believed that younger humans were easier to control.

"Kill these intruders!"

Immediately, a vampire drew his sword and charged at the pair.

But in the next second, he flew backwards like a cannonball.

He crashed heavily into a stone pillar dozens of meters away, blood and flesh splattering everywhere.

"So weak?"

Victor pulled his left foot back, looking genuinely surprised.

It was clear that he hadn't used much power in that kick.

After all, in his eyes, these vampires were nothing more than walking abstract dots!

He couldn't bear to waste them by killing them too quickly.

Who knew they could die from such a light kick? They were pitifully weak!

Perhaps it was because these vampires were too low level?

With this thought, Victor didn't want to waste time on these low level vampires.

With a casual wave of his hand, several vampires were instantly decapitated.

After dealing with these vampires, he didn't leave right away.

Unless something unexpected happened, the commotion here should have attracted attention.

It wouldn't be long before more advanced vampires arrived.

The situation developed exactly as Victor had expected.

In less than two minutes, a group of fully armed vampires surrounded them from all sides.

In the past, Shinoa would never have remained so calm when surrounded by vampires.

But now, after witnessing Victor's overwhelming strength, she looked at the vampire group as if they were already corpses, completely unconcerned.

"Shinoa, please wait in my dimensional space for a while. You are not fit to participate in the upcoming 'battle'."

Victor's eyes lit up with excitement.

Abstract Points, here I come!

But to avoid accidental injury, he decided to let Shinoa hide temporarily.

He tore open the space right in front of her.

Upon hearing this, Shinoa immediately guessed what would happen next and jumped into the dimensional space without hesitation.

She was afraid that if she hesitated even a second, her backside would be in serious trouble.

This scene was witnessed by the vampire army that had arrived.

The vampires who were originally preparing to attack suddenly stopped, showing expressions of fear.

Ripping open spatial rifts at will wasn't something ordinary people could do!

Even the ancestral vampires couldn't do it!

This person was definitely not easy!

He must be taken seriously!

"Human, state your intentions!"

The leading vampire spoke.

This man's name was René Sim, a member of Sangunem's defense force and the guard unit of the third vampire city.

Although he wasn't a Progenitor, his strength was outstanding among many vampires.

Victor ignored the question and swept his eyes over the group of vampires.

"Only this many people? It seems that the commotion I made wasn't big enough."

"In that case... let's make it even bigger!"

After saying this, Victor immediately released the aura of his late Foundation Establishment stage.

BOOM!

In an instant, it felt as if a massive mountain had pressed down on the vampires, causing their knees to buckle involuntarily.

"What kind of monster is that person?" René Sim gasped in horror.

His aura alone was enough to completely suppress them, rendering them immobile.

Even their Third Progenitor, Lord Krul, couldn't do that!

Was this person really human?

This oppressive force was only directed at vampires and had no effect on the human children.

However, the scene frightened the human children who had originally gathered to watch, and they quickly fled.

Watching is fine, but you have to be alive to enjoy the show!
