"It's the dojutsu known as Kotoamatsukami!" Seiki smiled as he patted the crow on the head.
"Kotoamatsukami?" Naruto exclaimed. "Isn't that the same technique Danzo planned to use on you, Aniki Seiki, to alter your will?"
Danzo... Hearing that name alone, Sasuke's eyes turned colder.
Seiki nodded. "If I'm not mistaken, Itachi must have implanted a protective jutsu for Konoha within this crow. Once Sasuke chases power, transplants Itachi's eyes, and goes up against you, Naruto, the crow will sense Itachi's eyes, fly out of your mouth, and cast a will-altering genjutsu on Sasuke!"
"To modify my will for the sake of Konoha?" Sasuke suppressed his anger. "Suigyuu, you're absolutely right—he's nothing but trash!"
Suigyuu mumbled quietly, "That's what you said!"
Naruto looked conflicted. "Sasuke, I think Itachi just didn't want you to get hurt, and certainly didn't want you living in hatred forever."
Sakura nodded earnestly, "Someone who plans your future while still alive must be the one who truly wants the best for you!"
Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Suigyuu, shut up!"
Suigyuu looked stunned. Did I even say anything?
Before he could defend himself, Seiki patted Sasuke on the shoulder and said, "Looks like there's a lot of misunderstanding between you two brothers. Didn't Obito say he would use Impure World Reincarnation to revive the strongest shinobi from each village? You could take this chance to talk to him!"
Sasuke's eyes lit up slightly. Right, this really is a great opportunity!
Naruto looked forward to it. "My dad was the Fourth, so he should be reincarnated too, right?"
Seiki shook his head slightly. "From what I've heard, Minato Aniki in this timeline died using the Dead Demon Consuming Seal. Sakura hesitated slightly. "But the Impure World Reincarnation is a kinjutsu—it's ruthless and inhumane. Is it really okay to use it?"
Seiki explained seriously. "Yes, the Impure World Reincarnation isn't exactly a decent technique, but this is wartime. Clinging to morality and rules will only tip the balance of victory toward the enemy. After all, war doesn't side with whoever is more just—it's all about who holds the advantage."
Everyone was genuinely surprised. They hadn't expected such a pragmatic and realistic statement to come from Seiki. Wasn't the Hokage always supposed to emphasize truth, goodness, and beauty?
"No wonder you're recognized as a leader from another dimension—your vision is indeed far beyond those outdated higher-ups!" Sasuke inwardly praised, unable to help but exclaim, "With such an open-minded leader, no wonder the Uchiha survived in that world!"
Naruto scratched his head in confusion, cheerfully saying, "Well then, if Aniki Seiki says so, there must be no problem!"
Sakura nodded thoughtfully. If her senpai said so, apparently there was something wrong with her own understanding.
"Senpai, what preparations are needed to break the Dead Demon Consuming Seal?"
"It requires the Shinigami Mask left by the Uzumaki clan," Seiki replied. "In my timeline, the mask was kept in the Uzumaki clan shrine outside the Hidden Leaf Village. I don't know how it is in this timeline yet, but let's go to the shrine first!"
"The Uzumaki clan..." Xianglin murmured silently, touching the bite mark on her arm.
Naruto exclaimed, "That's right! Third Grandpa once sealed the souls of [First Hokage] and [Second Hokage]. So this time, we can summon all four Hokages, right?"
"[First Hokage] and [Second Hokage]!" Sasuke's eyes flickered coldly. "Dobe, I'm going with you!"
Naruto didn't think much, immediately replying, "Sure thing, sure thing!"
Seiki smiled and gently patted the head of the puppet: Corpse Crow. "In principle, this crow was the legacy Itachi left for you. May I have its eye?"
Naruto nodded repeatedly. "Of course!"
Sasuke snorted coldly and turned his head away. "I hate seeing that eye!"
