Risa gritted her teeth, forcing the faces of her enemies into memory — every last one of them. She would never forget.
"Boss! There's no one left alive!" Gunner Ribas called out flatly, his voice echoing among the burning ruins.
Bellamy turned with a grin, his eyes gleaming with ambition. "Light it up. Clean the area, and then we'll officially join the Donquixote Pirates!"
To him, this was a dream come true. Doflamingo had been his idol since childhood — and now, becoming part of the Donquixote Family made his blood race with excitement.
But before he could give the final order, the air around them began to ripple. Space twisted like liquid, and from the distortion stepped a man — calm, tall, and cold-eyed.
"A space-type Devil Fruit user?" Bellamy muttered, his confidence faltering.
He clenched his fists and spoke carefully, "What business do you have on my territory?"
Arrogant as he was, Bellamy wasn't a fool. Spatial powers were rarer than even Logia-type Fruits, and this man's entrance alone spoke of terrifying strength. He decided it was best not to provoke him… unless he had to.
Kaito ignored him completely. His expression remained unreadable as he released his electromagnetic field, his senses spreading across Turner Village like a storm of invisible energy. He was searching…
Then he sensed a faint life signature. One he knew well.
Risa… she's alive.
Some of the fury burning in his chest eased.
From below, Bellamy's face darkened at being ignored. "Hey, brat! Don't think that just because you've got some space-type ability, I'll be scared of you! You've got three seconds to get off my turf, or I'll kill you where you stand!"
Kaito finally lowered his gaze to meet Bellamy's. His tone was flat, yet it cut deeper than steel."You… all of you… are already dead."
Bellamy sneered. "Heh, big talk! Kill him!"
Cannons roared and muskets fired. Dozens of explosions filled the air — only to vanish before even touching Kaito. The blasts simply disappeared, erased as if they'd never existed.
"Spatial manipulation…" Bellamy's face twisted in disbelief.
Suddenly, Kaito vanished.
"Where is he?!" Bellamy shouted, spinning around. His Observation Haki stretched out, but no trace of Kaito could be found.
Then the ground began to quake violently.
The dirt under their feet softened like melting wax, transforming into a strange, swirling pit that dragged everything down.
"Not good! Everyone, get out of here!" Bellamy yelled, his legs snapping into springs as he launched himself high into the air.
But the others weren't as lucky. The soil beneath them devoured the corpses and the living alike, swallowing them whole before turning solid once more.
Kaito reappeared before Bellamy and the few survivors left. His eyes were cold."The dead have been buried. Now… it's your turn to bear my wrath."
Bellamy's pupils shrank. "That power just now — that wasn't space! What the hell are you? No one can use two Devil Fruits!"
He was right to be afraid. No human could possess two Fruits without dying instantly… and yet this man stood unharmed.
Kaito didn't bother to answer. His chakra surged like a tidal wave, merging with his Haki as his voice fell like a divine decree."Fire Style: Fire Dragon Bullets!"
The air trembled.
The temperature spiked as blazing fireballs the size of moons ignited around him, suspended in midair. Then, with a flick of his hand, they rained down upon Bellamy's men like falling meteors.
"What the—? Fire?!" Bellamy's composure broke. "Who the hell are you?!"
The heat was unbearable. Even from afar, the flames scorched the air.
"Retreat! Everyone, retreat!" Bellamy roared, bolting toward the port.
But as the pirates tried to follow, the earth erupted again. Tree roots as thick as serpents burst from below, wrapping around them and dragging them down.
"Damn it! What is this?!"
"Boss! Help us!"
Their desperate screams were drowned out by the roar of approaching fire. Bellamy didn't look back — he couldn't. The heat alone made his skin burn.
Behind him, the world became an inferno. The fireballs struck the ground, creating massive craters glowing molten red. From above, it looked as though meteors had wiped Turner Village off the map.
When the flames finally died, nothing remained — no bodies, no ruins, not even ash.
Kaito's eyes hardened. He turned toward where Risa hid, relieved she was still alive. Then, he looked at the fleeing figure of Bellamy and smiled coldly.
You really think you can escape from me?
In the blink of an eye, he vanished.
Up ahead, Bellamy gasped for breath, leaping through the air toward the port. Good… he didn't follow me.
But the thought of his crew — burned alive — twisted his gut with rage."You wait for me, bastard! I'll get my revenge the next time we meet!" he hissed.
He landed on the dock, shouting orders as he scrambled onto his ship. Within moments, the sails unfurled, and the vessel sped away from the blazing shore.
But then… space rippled beside him.
Kaito stepped out silently, as if he had always been there.
Bellamy's blood ran cold."Damn… that cursed space power again."
"You thought you could run?" Kaito's voice was calm — too calm.
Bellamy clenched his fists. "If I'm not fighting you, I'm not afraid of you! Are you really going to kill us all?!"
Kaito's gaze sharpened. "Turner Village was once my home. I heard you were targeting it. So, I waited… in Logue Town… just for you."
The weight of his words froze Bellamy to the core.
