Chapter 345 - 345: King Haki

Doflamingo, the wielder of the String-String Fruit, had fully awakened his ability.

Every slender thread possessed the sharpness and resilience of steel—deadly enough to slice through nearly anything.

Now, a massive cage of threads surrounded him and his men, sealing them within a fortress of lethal silk.

To reach Doflamingo, Kaito would first have to break through that barrier.

"Do you really think this little cage can protect you?" Kaito's calm voice echoed as he appeared before it, his expression unreadable.

"Fufufufufu…"

Doflamingo's twisted laughter filled the air. His fingers flicked, and countless thin white threads shot forward like bullets.

Crackle!

Gray-black lightning crackled around Kaito's body, instantly burning the oncoming threads to ash before they could even touch him.

"That lightning… Are you a Logia-type? Thunder Fruit, huh?" Doflamingo's grin turned cold.

"That's right," Kaito replied indifferently. "But there's no prize for guessing."

With a flick of his wrist, gray lightning coiled in his hand, shaping itself into a long whip that shimmered with destructive power.

In one swift motion, he lashed out.

The whip struck the cage with a deafening crack!

Despite Doflamingo reinforcing it with Armament Haki, the barrier split apart like paper under the overwhelming force.

Buffalo and Jorah, too slow to react, were caught in the blast.

In an instant, black lightning enveloped them.

The smell of scorched flesh filled the air as their bodies fell lifelessly to the ground.

Doflamingo froze for a heartbeat, staring at his fallen subordinates.

Even with his cruel nature, rage flared in his chest.

"Fufufufu… You're the first person to ever kill my family."

Murderous intent flooded from his body, and a wave of Conqueror's Haki burst forth, dark red and oppressive, spreading across all of Dressrosa.

The air trembled. Ordinary citizens fainted instantly, their eyes rolling white as foam gathered at their lips.

"That's Conqueror's Haki! It's coming from King's Plateau!"

All across Dressrosa, heads turned toward the source of that terrifying pressure.

At the bullfighting arena, King Riku felt a surge of dread.

In the sunflower fields, a one-legged toy soldier turned solemnly toward the city.

Every warrior still conscious could feel it—the overwhelming clash of kings.

At the center of it all, Kaito stood unshaken, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.

"Is this your Conqueror's Haki?" he said mockingly. "Too weak."

A heartbeat later, a golden aura erupted from his body.

Majestic. Overwhelming. Absolute.

His golden Conqueror's Haki blazed upward like a column of divine light, colliding with Doflamingo's crimson energy.

Crackle!

The air exploded with violet lightning where the two forces met, the pressure splitting the clouds overhead.

But the outcome was clear—Kaito's Haki completely overpowered Doflamingo's.

The crimson aura was crushed and pushed back until it shrank to barely a meter around Doflamingo himself.

Kaito sneered. He had spent years mastering his Haki, using countless shadow clones to refine his will.

Each day of his training equaled a lifetime for most.

His Conqueror's Haki had long since surpassed even that of the Red-Haired Emperor.

As his golden aura surged once more, the dark red energy surrounding Doflamingo shattered entirely.

Thump! Thump!

All around, Doflamingo's lesser subordinates—those with bounties under a hundred million Berries—collapsed instantly, unable to withstand Kaito's pressure.

Only three of Doflamingo's top officers remained standing.

"This… this Conqueror's Haki… impossible!" Doflamingo's eyes widened in disbelief.

"There's nothing impossible," Kaito said coldly. "You've simply been staring at the sky from the bottom of a well."

Lightning coiled around his arm once again, forming that same devastating whip. He swung it down without hesitation.

"Watch out, Dover!" Diamante shouted, stepping in front of his captain.

Activating his Devil Fruit, his cloak transformed into solid steel. He coated it with Armament Haki and braced himself.

Crackle!

The whip struck with thunderous force.

Diamante's steel cloak conducted the electricity instantly, and before he could even scream, his entire body went rigid, blackening under the sheer voltage.

In the blink of an eye, he was reduced to smoking charcoal.

The ground around them was scorched and cracked.

Only Doflamingo remained standing, trembling slightly as his threads unraveled.

Kaito straightened, his gaze icy and calm. "One down."

The golden lightning around him shimmered like the wrath of the heavens themselves.
