Chapter 7 - 7

Starwick

I found myself standing in front of a young girl. She looked average to me and I didn't know why she'd qualify to be my mate. She was nothing I was expecting. Usually, the girls that summon me are bad girls. They dress the part and their aura shows that part. Why I had been brought before this questioning bimbo I had no idea.

"Magic." I had earlier whispered to her. She just stared at me as if I was a ghost. Technically I was. Only she could hear and see me. For now, she couldn't touch me. "Okay. Jokes apart. If you could call me,... that means you can help me." "With what?" she asked. I stared deep into her eyes. They were brown buh deep inside was a bright sparkle of red, it appeared suppressed.

"I'm a demon prince. The devil's son to be precise. Let's start with that." She didn't seem fazed. A beeping sound rang out in the room. She walked past me to the microwave at the corner of the room and pulled out a takeout. She crashed into the armchair I was seated in earlier and started eating. Not what I was expecting. "Go on." she said, her mouth stuffed with food.

Her unsurprised behavior suddenly made me attracted to her. "What did you say your name was again?" I asked. "Livana Muldoon." "Aren't you scared or something? Don't you think I'll devour you or something?" "If that's what you're really here to do then I'd love that cause this my life sucks. Just lemme eat this up first."

Other girls I'd met, whenever they heard that line always screamed and started begging for mercy. This one just kept eating. "Wow." I whispered, strolling my fingers through my hair." "You're hot. Has anyone ever told you that?" she asked looking directly into my eyes. I smirked, "Many people actually. Guys included." "You still haven't told me why you're here."

"Right. You see,... I'm cursed." "Much expected from the devil's son. If I kiss you, will it break the curse?" she asked almost interrupting me. "No. It won't. This isn't a Disney movie." I deadpanned. I continued, "I need you to break my curse. You're literally my last hope. I've been summoned by girls before you. Five girls to be exact and they all failed woefully. First, I have to ask you this." "What?" her expression changing completely into one of confusion, I can't believe it but the look on her face made my heart skip a beat.

I took a very deep breath, then asked, "Firstly, are you a student of Dexter high? Secondly, if yes, are you in your final year? Thirdly, are you a bad person?" I paused a while then continued, "I need to make sure you're the right person before I tell you what I need from you. Accidentally got fated with the wrong person once. She was a good girl and she committed suicide the minute I told her what I needed from her. Can't have that happening again." I smirked.
