On a Sunday evening in the Harrison's mansion,a sudden knock is heard on the door. Sarah Carter the newly employed maid rushes to check who's there. As she flungs the door open,Alex Harrison steps in and tells her to go continue her work.
Alex welcomes his only child and heir to his properties back home. Andrew is accompanied by a bodyguard [Tim]. Theresa Harrison [ Andrew's mom] is seen chuckling happily and waking briskly to meet her son she hugs him tightly and ask him about work and how he's being faring.
At dinner, Andrew inquires from his parents who the new lady was. She is introduced as Sarah Carter their new maid. He tells them she is stunning and beautiful. His father tells him to settle in properly before throwing glances at anyone this led to a loud laughter from everyone including Tim .
They ate happily and discussed about business matters .
After Andrew's long come visit and departure, Sarah's father is hospitalised. She gets a phone call from home. Her brother Phil informs her that her father [ John Carter] urgently needs a heart transplant which costs a million dollars.He also tells her to come to the hospital to have a word with the doctor in charge.
She rushes to the hospital which is suitated in her home town [ Homestead] . She sees her father in the emergency room and began sobbing. Her mother and her brother arrives at the hospital and meets her by the patient coordinator counter. The trio headed for the doctor's office . Doctor Stefan explains to them that John Carter had a cardiac arrest which they have being providing cardiopulmonary resustication [CPR] to maintain blood flows and oxygen. He furthers explain that these involves chest compressions and artificial ventilation to stimulate the heart's pumping action and keep oxygen flowing to the brain and vital oxygen.
Although his condition keep worsening that's why a heart transplant was suggested. Doctor Stefan advised them the faster they act the greater chances he has to survive before it becomes critical.
Sarah leaves Homestead for Chicago at noon . On arriving at the Harrison's mansion, she bumps into her boss Theresa Harrison. She apologises as she was about to leave for the kitchen Theresa saw her eyes and asked if she had been crying and wanted to know the reason . Sarah reluctantly tells her everything. Theresa is shocked and asks why she didn't tell them about it earlier Sarah further explains she got to know about it today . Theresa consoles and tells her she would tell her husband when he's back for further help . Sarah thanked her profusely and leaves to get dinner ready .
Hours later.....
After dinner, Theresa tells her husband Alex, of Sarah's father condition. He ponders on it and tries to find a solution after informing his son Andrew, he found one and told his wife Theresa to send for Sarah.
Sarah is called to the living room she's asked to have a sit on the couch thereafter, Alex began speaking,he shows sincere sympathy and tells her of the agreement being made that is, for the payment of her father hospital bills she has to get married to his only child Andrew.
