I wasn't shocked because Adrianos message came after Adrian's message,I was shocked because for the first time,Adrian messaged me first and even ask how I was doing. As much as I wanted to reply,I didn't until few minutes later.
" I'm fine" I replied subtly and waited for his next reply. " There's is an event coming up next week and I'm not sure you know about it and we will need the help of you with some things he said.
" No prob" I said and ended the conversation. I'm not angry with the fact that he asked for my help ,it was a pleasure but I should have known that he wasn't the type to just check on someone randomly. I thought to myself and laughed.
Actually,it had been so long I've talked to him. I stopped when I realised that I was actually disgracing myself, because how would I whom so many people struggle to talk to,lose my self-esteem to start chasing over someone that don't even care. Just thinking about it makes me angry, jealous and the feeling that I am not really that worthy or important in his eyes." Maybe now that my crush has returned, I'll just forget the hell out of him" I said to myself and hissed.
After spending almost a year in this school, I'm finally going back home and can't wait to meet my mum. I particularly missed her food and of course,my dear Steve who has been waiting for me.
" Steve" I shouted immediately I sighted him from afar. " My dearest Queen",he shouted back and as he came running.
" You this small boy,and was it because I did not message you that you decided to do the same too?'I said and laughed ,but when I realised that he was busy engrossed with his phone ,I decided to tap him gently instead.
" I'm so sorry,I was just engrossed with what Adrian was telling me ,that guy is so funny" he said and laughed.
" Are you sure it's Adrian? This on that you're smiling, blushing and laughing altogether" I asked him jokingly.
" Of course, it's Adrian. Just telling me his experience with girls as usual, that boy is a bad boy" he laughed as he helped me with some of my bags.
" He has another girlfriend again right" I asked and smiled bitterly. I should have known better that me and Adrian are just friends and nothing else, but strangely enough I wasn't even sad and all that was evident on my face was nothing but a smile
