The next morning arrived not with peaceful silence—but with the sharp crack of a pebble slicing through air.

Pak!

Vivi gasped. "I hit it again!"

She bounced in place, sweat dripping down her cheeks. Two of the three marked tree trunks now had neat, tiny holes inside the center rings.

Rael nodded, arms crossed. "Your control's improving. Keep your wrist loose. Precision comes from relaxation, not force."

Vivi nodded, determination burning stronger than the day before.

A few meters away, Robin stood surrounded by a forest of sprouted limbs. Her Shadow Bind Flow had become far more stable. The lattice she formed no longer shuddered or broke apart after a few seconds—it held, flexible yet strong.

"Good," Rael said, circling her. "But don't get comfortable. You should be able to shift the formation instantly."

Robin exhaled, concentration sharpening. Arms vanished and reappeared, weaving into new patterns. She was still slow, but the improvement was undeniable.

Rael smirked.

She's almost there. A few more days and she'll shock the world.

On the other side of the clearing, Kaya struggled with her cane, body drenched in sweat.

Rael tapped her shoulder without warning—

Kaya slid back half a step, redirecting the force perfectly.

He tapped her hip—

She shifted her weight with barely a twitch.

Then he swept his leg low—

She hopped back with a small yelp but avoided it.

Rael chuckled. "Not bad. That's real survival instinct."

Kaya collapsed to her knees, panting but smiling shyly. "I… I'm trying."

"I can see that," Rael said, offering her water. "You're improving fast."

Training continued into the afternoon.

Robin's shadow-chain formations grew faster.

Vivi learned to flick pebbles with her eyes closed.

Kaya's Redirect Step became smoother, less fearful, more instinctive.

Rael watched them with a mixture of pride and anticipation.

They weren't strong yet.

They weren't ready yet.

But they were getting there.

And soon… they would surprise even themselves.

The Sky Shivers

As the sun dipped low, the training finally slowed.

Vivi massaged her fingers. Robin stretched her shoulders. Kaya collapsed face-first into the sand again.

"Enough," Rael said. "Wash up and rest. Tomorrow, we push again."

They nodded, too tired to argue.

But as the three walked back toward the small camp they'd set up—

The sky flickered.

Just once.

A barely noticeable ripple shimmered high above the clouds, like someone had scratched reality with a blade.

It vanished almost instantly.

The girls didn't notice.

Rael didn't notice.

But someone else did.

Beyond the Verse

In a place where space and time had no meaning, where stars were as insignificant as grains of sand—

A voice chuckled.

Not loud.

Not human.

Not sane.

Just… amused.

"Ohhhh… interesting," the voice whispered, echoing through nothingness. "A shard from It… hiding in this tiny, fragile reality?"

Another laugh—low, distorted, ancient.

"How amusing."

The presence leaned closer—not physically, but conceptually, its attention focusing like a cosmic predator noticing prey.

"Let's see what you will do… ####."

The name it spoke did not exist in any mortal language. A name that twisted space just by being uttered.

Its laughter shook the void.

"Dance for me, little anomaly."

Back on the Island

Rael sat on the shore, letting the waves lap at his feet. The moonlight shimmered across the water like silver paint.

Something felt… odd.

A faint tug in the back of his mind. Like a whisper too quiet to hear.

He frowned and looked up at the sky.

Nothing.

The night was calm, peaceful.

"Hm."

He shrugged it off. Maybe just fatigue. He had been pushing himself harder than usual to guide the girls.

Behind him, he heard Vivi laughing, Kaya mumbling in her sleep, and Robin humming softly while reading by the fire.

Normal.

Everything felt normal.

Rael leaned back, eyes half-closed.

He didn't know.

He couldn't know.

That something ancient… something far beyond the One Piece world…

far beyond this verse entirely…

was watching him now.

Watching with curiosity.

Watching with amusement.

Watching with interest.

Its motivations were unknown.

But one thing was certain:

Rael had drawn its attention.

And once It noticed someone…

It never looked away.
