Chapter 257 - 257

Chapter 257: Angels VS Warships

Thick blue energy beams shot out from the muzzles, falling like raindrops towards Knowhere, heavily bombarding the area near the Golden Arches not far in front of Tang Song.

The ground for tens of kilometers around, with rock and soil layers tens of meters thick, was completely overturned by the bombardment as if a tidal wave had struck, revealing the pale white bone fossils of Celestial heads beneath the rock layer. The attacks from these alien spaceships were much more powerful than Space-Based Weapons launched from low Earth orbit on Earth.

Not only was the intensity of the attack greater, but the coverage area was also more than ten times that of Space-Based Weapons.

"Looking at the design of these spaceships, they look somewhat different from the spaceships here now! It should be two different groups of people!"

The fleet in Outer Space and this batch of fleets in low Earth orbit seemed not to be the same group. To cause greater casualties to these 'Angels', their bombardment also included some space fighters.

However, in terms of casualty effect, this fleet was successful. The dense bombardment enveloped the Golden Arches, and the Angels flying out from inside all turned into nothingness in the bombardment.

Scattered white feathers almost covered Knowhere half a meter thick. This method of attack gave Tang Song the illusion that the opponent was blocking the entrance of a chicken coop and throwing firecrackers.

However, although this fleet in Outer Space used such dense firepower to block the Angels inside the Golden Arches, it did not cause significant damage to the Golden Arches itself.

After the first wave of millions of Angels rushed out of the Golden Arches, a portion, numbering nearly ten thousand Six-Winged Angels, directly joined in prayer. The surfaces of the statues of several Twelve-Winged Guardian Angels on the Golden Arches emitted pure white Holy Light.

Bathed in Holy Light, the main body of the Golden Arches completely entered the state Between Reality and Illusion.

It was as if it were located in the dimensional gap between reality and illusion. Whether it was the dense bombardment from the Outer Space fleet or the direct hit from the Main Cannons of the Kree Fleet that was close at hand, both seemed to bombard the air.

Not only that, Tang Song's Divine Sense swept over this millions-strong Angelic Legion. Most of the others were similar to Six-winged Metal Humanoids, a type of Angelic form puppet.

Inside, they were all energy cores composed of Holy Power. The truly sentient Six-Winged Angels added up to less than twenty thousand. Most of those killed by this bombardment were puppet-like Two-winged Angels. The vast Angelic Legion scattered at high altitude and fought together with the Kree's fighter jets.

Although the attack from that fleet in Outer Space cut off the reinforcements for the Angelic Legion and caused considerable casualties to the Angelic Legion, it clearly did not cripple this vast Angelic Legion.

The Ancient One sealed Heaven outside the Reality Dimension, not allowing them to descend and manifest their divinity. It seems she had her reasons.

However, in terms of spectacle and appearance, Heaven is indeed more suitable for developing followers. Their style, this scene, is truly very captivating.

In comparison, the so-called Asgard of a certain one-eyed commander is much inferior. No wonder there are far more people on Earth who believe in God than in Odin now.

When the Ancient One was discussing the Dao with Boss Tang, she once talked about some Dimensional Evil Gods and Pantheons who deeply coveted Earth, among which Heaven was on the list.

That 'Lord' has a very urgent need for the Power of Faith. According to the Ancient One's statement, besides Earth, Heaven has developed countless followers on Alien Planets and in other dimensions.

It seems the Power of Faith provided by the followers on Earth appears incredibly small compared to the followers in the entire territory of Paradise Mountain. But Earth seems to have an inexplicable attraction for all deities, Evil Gods, and Demons from all dimensions.

For Heaven, the significance of one high-level follower on Earth to them is roughly equivalent to the effect of tens of thousands of Fanatics on other planets.

Moreover, the quality of Earthlings' faith is exceptionally high, like an iron atom in a large mountain of steel suddenly being transformed into a silver atom. Although the quantity is small, it is a fundamental change.

Heaven will naturally not give up this fertile land.

Back then, the Ancient One and Odin joined forces and only barely managed to block these 'Cosmic Locusts' outside the Nine Realms. For this, the Ancient One also signed a contract with that 'Lord'.

Heaven's Angels cannot manifest their divinity on Earth. Except for the Vatican, they cannot descend into the Current World Dimension at will. As a condition, the Ancient One allowed Heaven's followers to preach on Earth. This is also the origin of The Church on Earth.

Compared to Heaven, with only a handful of people, Asgard's Aesir appear much more dilapidated.

I just don't know what Asgard looked like during its peak, with the Army of the Dead commanded by the Goddess of Death Hela, plus Valhalla, said to be comparable to Paradise Mountain.

I really don't know what plans Odin had in mind, personally sealing his own daughter. If he hadn't intervened, his own queen would have almost been killed by defeated subordinates like the Dark Elves.

You should know that during its peak, Asgard had the strength to easily defeat the Nine Realms.

While complaining about Odin crippling himself, Tang Song slowly walked towards The Collector's Palace Complex. Dense energy cannon barrages bombarded around him, either grazing his body and hitting nearby or passing through his body.

His body, like the Golden Arches, also seemed not to be in the Reality Dimension. He, a living person, walked so openly through the middle of the battlefield, but whether it was the Kree, Metal Wingmen, or those Angels, or that fleet in Outer Space, all seemed to have their perception blocked.

They completely did not notice him.

Tang Song was using a Spatial Spell named Two Realms Intangibility. This is not an ordinary magic art like Invisibility Technique formed by combining a few talismans and restriction formations; it is a true Spatial Spell.

To truly master Two Realms Intangibility, one needs to master as many as one thousand two hundred and sixty space talismans alone. The combinations and changes within it, the understanding of space, are simply impossible to comprehend without reaching the level of Pure Yang True Immortal.

Spatial and time-based spells are the most difficult to cultivate in any Universe or great world.

After all, time and space are not like the Five Elements, wind, or thunder that can be observed, perceived, or captured.

Tang Song was able to master Two Realms Intangibility thanks to the Space Gem and the Ancient One's support.

The existence of the Space Gem was simply like the entire Marvel Universe nakedly dissecting its own space rules in front of Boss Tang, like a goddess with a cold persona in the eyes of outsiders.

allowing Boss Tang to manipulate and appreciate it at will.

After clearly stating that he would take over the heavy responsibility of maintaining the Reality Dimension, the Ancient One opened the Kamar-Taj library to him. Within the library, many spatial and time-based dark magic techniques inherited from ancient times greatly benefited Boss Tang.

Among them, this spell of Two Realms Intangibility is a product of magical modification.

Tang Song walked through the chaotic battlefield as if no one else was around, arriving before The Collector's Castle. Looking at the blue energy shield in front of him, he lifted a foot and stepped. A Golden Bridge Phantom flashed beneath his foot.

By the time his foot landed, he had already appeared inside the protective shield, in front of the Castle's Gate.

"Boom!"

Elder Mandel and Star-Lord watched dumbfounded as the strong man in front of them punched out, a fist wind crackling with reddish-white electric light blasting a Four-Winged Angel into shattered pieces.

After taking down an Angel that he found troublesome, Adam stood behind Kane on his own.

Amidst the falling feathers, Kane looked at Hugh Veda, his gaze swept over Elder Mandel who was being held up by two Card Soldiers.

"'Leader Kane,' he is the black market merchant we contacted, responsible for procuring our warships and spaceships this time!" Hugh Veda explained Elder Mandel's origin to Kane.

Kane looked at Elder Mandel. "You are a black market merchant. The market on this Planet has been destroyed. Can you still get the goods we want?"

"'Yes, yes, no problem. This shop in Knowhere is just my storefront. My real resources and connections are not in Knowhere. Even if Knowhere is destroyed, it won't affect my business!'"

Elder Mandel felt the sharp qi all over Kane's body. On his rhinoceros face, those small eyes squeezed out a fawning smile towards Kane.

Fearing being smashed into meatloaf by a punch or being directly abandoned, Knowhere is now a meat grinder. Throwing him, a small black market merchant, here, the next second he would probably either be blasted into dust by a stray bullet or have his head cut off by those birdmen with wings.

"'Take him, let's go!' Kane's gaze moved away from Elder Mandel. He glanced at the dense Angels diving down from the sky and snapped his fingers."

At the moment this group of Angels dived down, hundreds of dark figures leaped out from the surrounding Ruins, tackling these Angels to the ground. Sharp tail needles pierced through their hearts.

Sharp teeth directly bit through their throats.

The Dark Fleet in Outer Space dispatched several huge black spaceships like Castles. These spaceships, under the cover of more than a dozen warships, descended from the sky. Their hatches opened downwards, and large numbers of Soldiers under Corvus Glaive, leading large battle beasts, surged out from inside the hatches like a tide.

"Capture this Castle! Whoever occupies this Castle first will receive a personal reward from the great Thanos!"

Roar, a beast-like roar came from Corvus Glaive's mouth.

The Soldiers under him all released the chains in their hands, and the huge battle beasts swarmed towards the battlefield.

These battle beasts were all biological weapons created by Thanos conquering the Universe, extracting excellent genes from various interstellar races and manufacturing them. Not only were they huge in size, but they were also thick-skinned and tough-fleshed.

They could resist ordinary energy gun shots, and the flying speed of many battle beasts was also astonishingly fast.

Dense flying battle beasts soared into the sky and fought together with those Angels and Metal Wingmen.

Other large numbers of ground-dwelling battle beasts resembling Behemoths directly launched a charge towards The Collector's Castle.

With remote firepower support from the Outer Space fleet, thousands of armored battle beasts, unafraid of gunshot, blade cuts, or burning, launched a frantic charge. Countless Angels risked their lives to resist these battle beasts, but their slashes on the armor of these battle beasts, although causing light to scatter from their battlegear, were completely ineffective against these guys.

As the Soldiers controlling the battle beasts sounded the inspiring battle cry, these thousands of battle beasts, like army ants, instantly broke through the defensive position formed by the Angelic Legion.

Tens of thousands of Two-winged Angels and Four-Winged Angels lost half their number in just ten minutes. The huge battle beasts, like heavy tanks, rampaged straight through and would soon reach The Collector Tivan's Castle.

Michael slashed out with a sword, blasting Ronan the Accuser, who held the Universal Weapon, onto his Dark Star spaceship. In less than ten minutes, Michael, alone with his sword, cut down more than thirty warships that the Kree were proud of. Before his teleportation ability, the so-called focused fire of these warships was a joke.

Michael looked at the Kree leader in front of him spitting out purple blood. Just as the Longsword in Michael's hand, condensed from Holy Light, was about to deliver the final blow,

his gaze swept, noticing the collapsing Angelic Legion.

He flapped the wings behind him, carrying the power of teleportation between his wings, and directly arrived on top of a Dark Fleet spaceship. Holding the Longsword high in his hand, a thick, pure white sword light slashed towards the spaceship beneath his foot.

Just then, a figure with his hands behind his back appeared opposite Michael. Facing this Heavenly Kingdom Vice-Regent, he casually waved his hand.

A Kree space fighter nearby was directly twisted into a pretzel by an invisible force, forming thick spiral steel spikes that shot towards Michael.

Michael casually used a holy light slash to cut off the steel spikes in front of him, flapped his wings, and his figure disappeared, suddenly appearing in front of Ebony Maw. The Holy Light Longsword in his hand slashed towards his face.

Clang! A long blade flew from the side, blocking Michael's attack. Corvus Glaive leaped over, taking Michael's blow for Ebony Maw. But the Heavenly Kingdom Vice-Regent's slash was so heavy that his foot sank.

The huge dark fleet spaceship shook from it.

Corvus Glaive swung his hand back, and that famous Glaive of Death in the Universe hooked towards Michael's neck.

The two of them: one was one of the Black Order of the Cosmic Overlord Thanos, clearing countless troublesome planets for Thanos. The Glaive of Death in his hand was invincible. In other parallel universes, his Glaive of Death could even pierce the husk of Vision made of vibranium.

The other was one of the four Archangels of Heaven, Michael, known as the Heavenly Kingdom Vice-Regent. He was no weakling like Thor. Michael's combat strength was absolutely not inferior to the Goddess of Death Hela sealed by Odin, and might even surpass her.

Compared to Michael, who possessed the ability of teleportation, Corvus Glaive could only barely parry with that sharp Glaive of Death.

But he wasn't alone. Ebony Maw, who had freed his hands, with a wave of his hand,

beneath his foot, all the high-energy main cannons on the turrets of a falling Kree warship were constantly vibrating.

Amidst the sound of huge metal impacts, hundreds of high-energy main cannons on the turrets tumbled and were swept into the sky, and were twisted into pieces in the blink of an eye, turning into countless sharp metal short blades, stabbing towards Michael.

Michael swung his hand and a white Holy Light sent Corvus Glaive flying dozens of meters away. Facing the dense sharp blades shooting towards him, the wings behind him flashed, about to use his teleportation method.

Just then, Ebony Maw waved his hand upwards. The metal casing of the dark fleet warship beneath Michael's foot suddenly turned into liquid, shot upwards, and tightly wrapped around his leg.

Seeing that countless sharp blades were about to stab him through, Michael was not flustered at all. The wings behind him spread, and white Holy Flame rose hundreds of meters high. Michael, who had restored his true body to a height of a thousand meters, with just a flap of his wings, the scorching high temperature of the Holy Flame instantly burned a large Hole in the black warship beneath his foot.

Before those metal short blades could even get close to him, they were melted into puddles of molten iron by the Holy Flame.

"Heretic! How dare you scheme against Paradise Mountain!"

Michael looked at the group of battle beasts in the distance about to charge into The Collector's Castle, thinking this group of heretics also came for Lost Heavenly Mountain.

In his eyes, the silver Cross shone brightly. His twelve pairs of wings behind him all spread open.

A halo also flashed above his head, and a nearly transparent white crystal emerged from his forehead. One could vaguely see the thick circles of white radiance inside his head wildly surging.

Amidst the sound of the remaining millions of Angels praying in unison,

after Michael chanted a few spells in his mouth, a ball of white radiance slowly gathered in his hands and then scattered towards the battlefield.

Falling from the sky, Holy Flame as pure white as snow, Holy Flame with a temperature higher than a star's core, landed on the ground, instantly piercing through the metal layers of these warships and fighter jets.

The solid rock layer ground, before this Holy Flame, seemed like paper, and was easily burned and melted into glass-like liquid.

As for those charging battle beasts, snowflake-like Holy Flame landed on their bodies, and they were instantly ignited into huge torches.

"'All warships, use the Star Annihilation Cannon! Target that glowing birdman! Fire!'"

While Michael gathered the strength of a million Angels to unleash 'Divine Purification', Ebony Maw controlled two Kree warships, forming a huge shield, blocking above himself and Corvus Glaive's heads.

But the snowflake-like Holy Flame, carrying unimaginable high temperature, quickly burned Holes in these warships. It didn't take long before the entire warship was burned copper-red.

Corvus Glaive, shrinking under the shield, commanded the fleet staying in Outer Space through the communicator to initiate an attack on Michael.

Under the critical situation of life and death, Corvus Glaive no longer cared about the Power Stone and directly ordered the fleet to use the Star Annihilation Cannon.

Faster than Corvus Glaive was Ronan the Accuser's Dark Star. The huge muzzle energy accumulation, a single shot blasted towards Michael.
