Chapter 3 - "Super Brain."

-----

-----

Outskirts of New York City. Abandoned industrial zone.

Jiro stood in the middle of a wide, empty lot. Crumbling walls and rusted machinery surrounded him.

This used to be a chemical plant. Now it was just broken concrete and overgrown weeds.

"System. Pull up my ability panel," he said in his head.

[Ding! Ability panel loaded.][Host: Jiro][Current Ability: Full version of Man of Steel (Upgradeable)]

[Strength: Can effortlessly lift over a million tons (Upgradeable)]

[Defense: Immune to all conventional physical attacks. Can take a direct nuclear blast without a scratch. Magic resistance is slightly weaker than physical—only top-tier magic users like the Ancient One are a threat. Regular mages? Meh.]

[Speed: Max 0.3c in space; Mach 200 in atmosphere]

[Energy Level: Yellow solar radiation charging in progress. Current charge: 97%]

[Special Abilities:]• Heat Vision (Max temp = Sun's surface)• Freeze Breath (Near absolute zero)• Bio-Field (Can protect or control touched objects)• X-Ray Vision (Penetrates everything except lead)• Super Hearing (Can focus on any sound globally)

[Weakness: Kryptonite can weaken or kill host. BUT—bio-field blocks all forms of kryptonite, even gas. Unless you want to die on purpose, no one can use it against you.]

Jiro nodded slightly and glanced around.

He needed to test his powers—but without attracting attention from S.H.I.E.L.D. or Hydra.

"Strength test first."

He walked up to a half-collapsed concrete building and placed one hand on the wall.

The bio-field expanded, wrapping around the entire structure. Then, with a gentle lift—

BOOM!

The entire building rose into the air. Steel beams creaked like hell, but thanks to the bio-field's precise control, not a single brick fell out of place.

"Roughly 8,000 tons. Easy," Jiro muttered.

The system already said he could do this, but it still felt better to test it himself.

[Strength test complete. Current lifting cap: Not yet reached.]

He gently set the building back down. The ground barely even shook.

"Next up: speed."

Jiro took a deep breath, bent his knees, and—

BANG!

A sonic boom cracked through the air as his figure vanished.

Nineteen seconds later, he was floating over the Atlantic Ocean, staring down at the waves.

"That was fast…" he muttered. "System, how fast was I going?"

[Speed Test Result: Approximately Mach 180][Warning: Supersonic movement produces sound booms and heat radiation. Might be detected by satellites. But don't worry—bio-field can mute all noise.]

Jiro nodded, adjusted his posture, and zipped back to the outskirts of New York.

"Time for heat vision and freeze breath."

He looked at a small mountain in the distance, narrowing his eyes.

Zzzzt!

Two razor-thin red beams shot out and sliced clean through the mountain. The rocks silently melted into lava.

Then he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

Whoosh!

A freezing gust of air swept through. The molten rock instantly turned into glossy black crystal.

"Nice control," Jiro said with a satisfied nod. "System, energy consumption report."

[Heat Vision (Low Power): Energy Used – 0.01%]

[Freeze Breath (One-time use): Energy Consumption 0.005%]

"Basically nothing," Jiro chuckled. "Alright, how about super hearing?"

He closed his eyes and focused.

In an instant, countless sounds flooded into his ears.

The blaring of sirens in New York City, the noisy chatter of crowds, the rumble of subways.

Farther away, political debates in Washington D.C., radio chatter from military bases…

Even a secret meeting on the other side of the planet.

His super brain automatically filtered out any S.H.I.E.L.D.-related communication.

He began scanning for his target and soon locked onto an encrypted conversation:

"The HYDRA base was destroyed. Energy readings are off the charts.""No witnesses. All surveillance down.""Director Fury wants the investigation to continue, but there's barely any leads."

Jiro smiled.

So, S.H.I.E.L.D. really was looking for him—but they had no clue.

He tried eavesdropping on HYDRA's channels next, but their encryption was tighter. Still, he managed to catch a few fragmented lines:

"Winter Soldier standing by.""Target may possess super speed.""Accelerate the plan."

"Figures. HYDRA's always more paranoid than S.H.I.E.L.D.," Jiro muttered, opening his eyes. "But they haven't found me either."

Time to test another ability—his super brain.

"System, pull up this world's tech tree. Focus on: energy tech and material science."

[Ding! Analyzing…]

[Marvel Universe Tech Level: Certain fields far beyond real-world standards]

[Key Technologies: Arc Reactor (Tony Stark), Vibranium (Wakanda), Pym Particles (Hank Pym), Super Soldier Serum (Dr. Erskine's legacy)]

Jiro narrowed his eyes.

"If I could master these… and combine them with my powers…"

He thought for a moment, then made up his mind—he needed to get his hands on the core technologies of this world.

Standing in the middle of an abandoned chemical plant, surrounded by silence and rusted metal groaning in the wind, he closed his eyes and felt the raw power surging through him.

His steel body gave him nearly invincible defense, and his super brain gave him practically unlimited learning potential.

But now, a new problem hit him:

He didn't actually understand any of this tech.

"If I want to truly stand firm in this world, brute strength isn't enough. I need real knowledge."

Step one: Basic science.

He took a deep breath, eyes narrowing slightly as he activated his super vision.

New York Public Library.

His vision pierced through dozens of kilometers, locking onto the library's archives.

The words on the spines of the books were crystal clear to him—even the tiniest printed fonts were magnified and broken down by his super vision.

University Physics, Introduction to Quantum Mechanics, Basics of Biochemistry…

His pupils contracted slightly as his visual nerves scanned page after page at lightning speed. His super brain soaked up the information like a sponge.

Molecular structures, electromagnetic theory, laws of thermodynamics, DNA coding…

All of it poured into his consciousness like a flood—but there was no confusion.

On the contrary, his mind processed everything with incredible efficiency, piecing it all together into a full, structured scientific knowledge system.

Just a few minutes later, he had mastered the entire framework of human foundational science.

Step two: Advanced tech, reverse engineering.

Now he needed something deeper.

Target: MIT Lab.

His super vision sliced through walls, zeroing in on a high-end lab still running late into the night.

Graduate students were calibrating a miniature nuclear magnetic resonance machine. The computer screens were filled with complex quantum computing models.

Jiro's eyes skimmed every line of code, every experimental parameter, and his brain automatically reverse-engineered the logic behind it all.

"So that's how the containment field for controlled fusion is built…"

He didn't need lab equipment—his super brain was the ultimate simulator.

In his mind, he could construct a virtual lab and simulate every possible experiment.

Step three: Marvel's black tech.

Now it was time to tap into the real heart of this universe's tech.

Arc Reactor from Stark Industries.

His vision crossed the city and locked onto the private lab at the top of Stark Tower.

Tony Stark was tweaking the output of a next-gen reactor.

Jiro's super vision zoomed into the core, analyzing the flow of plasma and the arrangement of the energy conversion matrix.

His brain instantly started breaking down the physics and constructing a more optimized design.

"Palladium's just a temporary fix. The real breakthrough should be…"

His mind was racing, and he mentally built a brand-new reactor model—more efficient and stable than Stark's.

The molecular structure of Vibranium.

Next, he shifted his gaze to the United Nations Headquarters. Hidden inside a Wakandan diplomat's suitcase was a small piece of Vibranium.

His vision adjusted to atomic resolution, revealing the crystal lattice of Vibranium in perfect detail.

"This metal… its vibration frequency lets it absorb kinetic energy?"

He began mentally modeling Vibranium's unique properties, predicting how it would behave under different conditions.

It didn't take long for him to fully grasp how it worked—and even begin drafting a plan to synthesize similar materials.

The quantum effects of Pym Particles.

Finally, his focus landed on Hank Pym's old warehouse.

The Pym Particle experiment logs were locked in a safe—but that meant nothing to Jiro's X-ray vision.

He studied the quantum tunneling effects of the particles, and his brain calculated the spatial compression equations automatically.

"So shrinking isn't about reducing mass… it's dimensional folding…"

He started working through it all by himself.

By the time dawn broke, Jiro opened his eyes with a confident smile tugging at his lips.

No help from the system. No trace left behind. Just his super brain and super vision, and he had learned everything—from basic science to cutting-edge tech.

Now, he didn't just have the power of a steel body…

He had the knowledge to change the world.

"Next up…" he looked toward the horizon, "Time to do some experiments."

"....."
