Kakashi snapped out of it and looked at Minato, speechless. "Sensei, where would we even get a fruit basket at this hour? And didn't you say we're short on time?"
Minato scratched his head and smiled. "Fugaku's youngest was just born. That little guy with the same name as the Third Hokage's father, I thought maybe we could bring something."
Kakashi rubbed his mask. "Sensei, you think a baby who isn't even one year old is still awake at this time?"
Whoosh!
A figure in a jōnin vest appeared and bowed slightly. "Lord Hokage, is there an emergency?"
Minato apologized, "Sorry to bother you so late, but it's urgent. We need Captain Fugaku's help. Is he still awake?"
The Uchiha jōnin shook his head. "He's still at the Police Force. Things have been... busy. I'll take you in, just in case…"
The three of them headed toward the Konoha Police Force. But Minato could sense something unsaid in the Uchiha jōnin's voice.
Still, for a Uchiha to withhold information from the Hokage... why would such a person be left on the Police Force?

"Captain, the Hokage is here."
When the door opened, Fugaku looked surprised but still bowed. "Lord Hokage."
Minato smiled. "I came so late because I need your help, Fugaku-san. First, could I ask you to summon Uchiha Shisui?"
Fugaku froze slightly and looked at the Uchiha jōnin who was about to leave.
'The Hokage named Shisui, but didn't seem to know him?'
Shisui got the nickname "Shisui of the Body Flicker" during the Third Great War, but Minato only became the Fourth Hokage afterward.
'Still... What kind of situation required both him and Shisui?'
