Chapter 1 - Return To Earth 1

On a distant world, far from the eyes of Earth, chaos reigned supreme.

Flames devoured forests. Blackened clouds thundered over shattered cities. Monstrous creatures roamed freely, their grotesque forms clashing against armored soldiers desperately fighting to defend what was left of their crumbling civilization.

Explosions ripped through the sky. Screams filled the air, drowned only by the roar of beasts and the grinding of collapsing metal. The planet was dying, and with it, the last hopes of peace.

But amidst the endless war, a battle raged above all.

Two figures clashed like titans. One radiated calm, controlled strength—the other, twisted madness and blind conviction.

Argan stood alone on the scorched battlefield, cloak torn but posture composed. His dark eyes reflected the storm around him, unmoved by the flames or the dying. In his hand, no weapon because he needed none.

Before him stood Jaun, one of the last High Generals of the Demon God's chosen. His armor pulsed with corrupted energy, veins glowing with dark crimson. A great blade etched with celestial runes crackled in his grip.

Their duel had lasted a full day.

The land around them had long since crumbled into ruins.

Argan snarled, his voice ragged. "Just how long do you plan to drag this on?! You betrayed your own kind, Jaun! Now you stand in the way of salvation?"

Jaun's blade trembled as it absorbed more of the dark ether. "Destruction must come. Only through ruin can we rebuild. Our god will make this world great again."

Argan scoffed, stepping slowly forward. "Your stupid god? That delusion made flesh? You're nothing but a puppet."

With a roar, Jaun lunged. "You dare defy a vessel of the Demon Gods?!"

He charged with the fury of a beast, blade screaming through the air. The ground beneath him shattered. The wind howled. Every eye on the battlefield turned to witness.

"I'll tear your arrogance in half!" Jaun roared, his voice shaking the air like a war drum.

Dark energy surged through his body, veins glowing with corrupted light. With a cry that echoed across the battlefield, he swung his massive blade with all his might, the force behind it distorting the very air. The ground split beneath his feet, and a shockwave rippled outward, flattening debris and soldiers alike.

The blade screamed like a falling star, aimed straight for Aaron's heart.

"Die with the rest of the fools who defied the gods!" Jaun bellowed again, his eyes wild with divine madness.

But Argan didn't flinch.

He did not raise his hands. He did not ready a defense.

Only when the blade fell a strike powered by divine hatred did he move.

A single step.

And he vanished.

The sword missed entirely, splitting only the empty wind.

Argan reappeared beside him, face blank.

"That's it?" he asked, voice calm. "You speak of gods… yet fight like a man who's never bled for anything."

Jaun roared in fury, turning again. His final surge of strength crashed toward Argan like a tidal wave.

Argan lifted a finger.

Time slowed.

Then, with a flick ,the divine blade shattered.

Shards scattered across the earth like falling stars. The glow vanished from Jaun's armor. His knees buckled.

He fell.

Jaun stared at the ground, eyes wide in disbelief. "W-what… are you…?"

Jaun struggled to rise, but his body refused to move. The last attack had drained nearly all his strength, leaving his limbs heavy and unresponsive. Deep within, his organs burned—scorched by the surge of power he had tried to wield.

" Me? I just someone destroy demon and someone like you who betray their own kind "

Then, Argan stood over Jaun, silent and unmoved, his shadow falling over the broken warrior like a final judgment.Jaun's breaths came in ragged gasps, his vision blurred, his strength gone.

"N-no… wait…" he choked, eyes wide with terror. "This… this wasn't how it was supposed to end…"

His body trembled as Argan's glowing hand reached toward him, radiating power that tore through the air like lightning.

Jaun tried to crawl back, but his limbs refused to obey. The weight of regret settled in his chest heavier than the pain.

"I-I just wanted… to fix this world…" he whispered, desperation clinging to his words.

Argan's gaze didn't falter. "You broke it in the name of false gods."

Then, with terrifying calm, Argan thrust his hand forward, piercing Jaun's chest in one smooth motion.

Jaun screamed—not just in pain, but in the horror of his choices.

Argan's fingers wrapped around the still-beating heart. "Too late for redemption."

With a flick of his wrist, the heart shattered, and Jaun's final breath escaped in silence.

After Argan crushed the heart,he pull his hand free, and let the body fall.

Turning away, he stared out at the rest of the battlefield—soldiers still fighting demons, unaware the tide had already turned.

He took a deep breath.

"If you're ever reborn… don't be stupid again."

Around him, the soldiers of the allied forces cheered as monsters began to flee. The battle was turning.

But Argan didn't join them. His eyes drifted upward—toward the stars beyond the burning sky.

His voice was soft, but heavy with ancient weight.
