Adrianne was busy. There wasn’t much she had to do at the detached palace, but between investigating the crown prince of Bjorn in secret, attending to Apollonia’s needs, and familiarizing herself with the palace’s power dynamics, she didn’t have time to do much else.
She was busy looking into Eckhart’s preferred color, interests, and all sorts other things that she didn’t even manage to enjoy the banquet herself. Fortunately, her efforts led her to meet a knight from Bjorn who had trained with Eckhart. From that person, she obtained a high quality piece of information that the crown prince once admired Bianca’s maternal grandfather, and judging that the knight might come in handy later, she gave him a considerable sum of money.
As night fell and the banquet continued, she finally felt at ease when she saw Eckhart and Bianca’s relationship progressing smoothly.
