"Good afternoon dear," grandma said nicely. "How was school?"
"It was good, I made a new friend his name is Mazikeen, he is trans like me." I said excitedly.
"That's amazing,dear." Grandma said calmly.
I walk upstairs to my room and pull out my phone. Ding. I check my phone to find a text from mazikeen saying 'hi wanna facetime'. I reply 'sure'. In the next second my phone starts ringing, I immediately answer.
"Hi" mazikeen says quietly, she is wearing headphones and her light is off.
"Hey, why is it so dark in your room and why are you wearing headphones?" I say concerned.
"Oh my dad is shouting at the boys and I prefer my light off" Mazikeen said a little annoyed but not at lillith.
"Oh you have siblings, how many?" I say curious.
"6, 3 girls and 3 boys not including me their names are Harry, he's the youngest, Harriet, Harley, holly, Hailey and hazel the oldest"
Mazikeen said bored.
"Oh that's a lot, why do all of their names start with ha accept you?" I said even more curious.
"Well my nan named me before she died, and my parents call me maci because apparently my name is to boyish" Mazikeen said annoyed but not at lillith.
"Oh, I think name is really cool Maz" I say really happy.
"Oh thanks" Maz said smiling.
We talked for hours until Mazikeen's parents came in and started shouting at him so he ended the call.
