Chapter 131 - Chapter 131: The Dragon Balls Resurrect Once Again

Under everyone's amazed gaze, Smith Dole adapted to ten times gravity in a surprisingly short time. From barely being able to move, he was soon throwing punches, kicks, and jumping freely.

"Master Smith is incredible!"

Puer's voice echoed with admiration, and the others joined in:

"As expected of God!"

Off to the side, Yelena gazed at Smith Dole with pure adoration in her eyes.

Everyone knew that ordinary people couldn't survive long under even 2x gravity, let alone train under it.

Even astronauts could only work briefly under 3x or 4x gravity—not train.

That's why Smith's performance only emphasized how incomparably powerful their leader was.

But Smith didn't just let them stand there watching. After a quick session to get a feel for the chamber, he exited and asked Bulma to reset it to 1.5x gravity. Then he had Fox, Wesley, John Wick, Alexei, and the others enter to experience it for themselves.

Watching them enter the gravity field, Smith smiled—until a sudden notification echoed in his mind.

The Dragon Balls had been restored.

It had already been a year since John Wick used them to revive his wife.

Now, a new wish could be made. Smith wondered who the next lucky soul would be. And more importantly, he was excited about the wish-based lottery that came with each summoning. He was curious how much stronger he might become this time.

Due to Smith's rising power, a new effect had been unlocked on the Dragon Balls:

Anyone who touched a Dragon Ball would instantly learn of its powers.

Smith was aware of this new feature, but didn't care much.

What he didn't know was that this "touch" also applied retroactively—to anyone who had previously interacted with the Dragon Balls and was still alive.

He closed his eyes and focused, using his abilities to locate each of the seven Dragon Balls and determine who currently held them.

Elsewhere—

All across the globe, the seven Dragon Balls shifted from their stone form back to their true shining appearance.

In London, a spoiled rich kid, inspired by a trending video of a streamer using the Power Level Detector to "coincidentally" meet people with over 5 points of combat power, decided to imitate it.

He headed to a busy metro station, confident that the sheer number of people would make it easy to find someone extraordinary.

"Maybe I'll run into a peak human… or even an Overcomer."

Thanks to the Power Level Detector's popularity, people with no special powers but a combat level of 8 or higher were now dubbed "Overcomers."

As trains came and went, the young man kept scanning passersby.

"5.0… 5.5… 4.3…"

"Huh? 3.7? Probably a junkie."

Suddenly, a tall and muscular Black man appeared, shoving people aside as he walked forward.

"Ten… ten points?! No way!"

"I actually found an Overcomer!"

The rich kid hurried forward, eager to meet the man.

But just as the towering man got close, he stopped, turned suddenly, and yelled:

"Vampire!"

He then pulled two submachine guns from his jacket and opened fire.

Ratatatatata!

Bullets rained down, hitting everything and everyone in his path. Passengers screamed and fled in chaos. Those about to enter the station turned and ran at the sound of gunfire.

The rich kid, frozen in place, could only mutter:

"Did… did he just say vampire?"

The Black man stormed forward, wildly shooting at a white man ahead of him.

Suddenly, another man emerged from the crowd and opened fire on the white man as well.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Caught off guard, the white man was riddled with bullets and collapsed. But his body began to twitch, glowing with purple markings, and his face twisted with pain—burn-like scars appearing on his skin.

Terrified, the rich kid gawked.

Are those new experimental weapons?

Then a black-clad woman in a trench coat emerged, dual-wielding pistols, and began laying down fire on the Black man.

Ratatatatata!

The intense barrage forced the man to take cover behind a column and reload.

The rich kid wisely ducked into a corner, trying to avoid catching a stray bullet.

The black-clad woman—Selene, currently in pursuit of a werewolf—noticed the rich kid wearing a Power Level Detector and frowned slightly.

While changing mags, she contemplated what to do with him. After all, in front of a Power Level Detector, their identities would be exposed.

She didn't expect to encounter one of these damn rich kids with a detector in the middle of a random train station. Hopefully, it was just a knockoff. With the real thing costing $3 million (or £3 million in the UK), fakes were everywhere.

Just then, another man entered the station and opened fire on the Black man, forcing him to flee into a train car.

Now the fight had split into two-on-two. No one paid attention to the clueless rich kid.

Catherine continued her pursuit of a werewolf, running along the tracks.

The vampire and the Black man, now on opposite sides of the train's glass, continued exchanging gunfire.

Eventually, both ran out of bullets, and the white man sprinted into the train car to chase after the Black man.

The rich kid, still hiding, exhaled in relief. When the coast was clear, he fled the station as fast as possible.

Meanwhile, the vampire and the Black man crashed out of the train, landing on the tracks.

They stared each other down—until the Black man's body twisted and transformed, morphing into a bipedal werewolf. The white man bared his fangs.

With twin howls, they lunged at each other in a ferocious clash.

The rich kid, glancing back, saw it all.

"Holy sh*t… there really are werewolves!"

"And that guy—was he actually a vampire?!"

The werewolf quickly overpowered the vampire, then fled the scene without looking back.
