Chapter 248 - Caught in a lie.

The faint morning light slanted through the wide medic bay windows, washing the room with a gentle brightness. Sunshine stirred in her sleep, her breathing calm. Beside her Castiel lay tucked beneath a thin blanket, his cheeks flushed but no longer burning of fever.

On her other side was White, drinking his first bottle of milk of the day which had been provided by Hades. It had been a bribe for the bear not to wake Sunshine up and it worked. 

The little bear was treating Hades like a worker, taking time to feed as if it paid him for the job. Every time he took his hand from the bottle, it squeaked and waved its paws in the air.

Hades considered it a threat. "Put the bottle down and I will wake her up." So, he had no choice but to stay until the bottle was finished and then he patted the bear back to sleep. 

"How did I end up a father slash slave to a mutated bear." He whispered as he covered White. "If I ever meet your biological father, I am going to demand for child support."
