One thing was very clear about Leah Steward, she had anger issues. She was suspicious of everything and everyone. Given what she had been through, it was understandable. But, Sunshine refused to let Leah's problems and attitude be her decision campus.
"No, I am not shooting her just yet." Sunshine shook her head. "We need to try and figure out what is going on with her or at least where she came from. The watchers do not act without reason."
Leah slammed her fist on the table. "The watchers have never done anything good for us. When those mutant and mutated beasts appear, they watch. When humans kill each other, they watch. When the weather kills us....'
"They watch." Zulu chimed in.
Two women glared at the parrot. Zulu tucked her head in her feathers and kept quiet.
