They were in bed, but sleep was taking its sweet time to claim them. Sunshine was twisting and sighing. Hades was facing the ceiling, counting sheep from one to one hundred. He was at sixty five, and he had a feeling that he would have to restart when he reached one hundred.
"Can't sleep?" Sunshine asked, turning her head to face him in the dark.
Hades turned his head as well. He moved his hand, tucking a single strand of escaped hair behind her ear. Even in the dim light, he just knew it was there because it was there. His hand lingered on her cheek for a moment. "We seem to be suffering from the same problem. After the relaxation session and the day of action which you had, I thought you would sleep like a log through the night."
She sighed. "Too much noise upstairs, in my mind. I need a distraction."
He smiled. That sounded like a call to arms. "I know what could be a good distraction."
Sunshine chuckled. "Your mind is always filled with bad ideas."
