Chapter 453 - Worse than an apocalyptic world.

"Because we needed a third party we could both trust." Sunshine replied, pulling out the Kylor Compass whose needle bent and warped violently.

"To the Breathing forest." Sunshine said to the compass,

Alfred squinted at it, "Are you talking to a compass? Is it even supposed to spin like that? What kind of wizardry is this?"

Nimo shook her head. 

Sunshine raised one foot and took a single step. "Let's go. Adventure awaits us."

She led them to a train station whose platforms were suspended in coiled rings. It was a hub where the creatures of this world and visitors drifted from one place to another. 

It was an interesting mixture of species. The largest number of travelers seemed to be insectoid merchants. 

"System, where are all these insectoids going?" she asked.

[Same place you are.]

The signs in the train station rearranged themselves, written in languages recognized by whoever looked at them.
