Pink hovered above, its eyes locked on Sunshine. She felt the weight of the bird's hatred. It did not just want to capture her anymore; it wanted her dead.
"Suni," Nimo said, panting. "That thing is looking at you like fish. Like dinner."
Sunshine's lips curved into a knowing cold smile. "Then, let's make it choke."
Nimo gasped. "You are not suggesting..."
Hadrian flickered behind Pink, attempting to plant a sonic disruptor on her back. The bird slapped him away with one wing. Nevertheless, he threw the disruptor out like a cricket ball. The device pulsed and exploded, sending shock waves through Pink's body.
The colossal bird screeched, wings spasming.
But instead of falling like others, it sought retaliation. A burst of the white flames erupted from its feathers. The flames which aimed for Hadrian almost sent him falling from the sky.
