Prologue: The Fall of the Dignitary

In the beginning, there was only one dimension.

This vast, unified world was ruled by a single, unmatched figure—known only as The Dignitary.

He alone wielded the four primordial powers: Fight, Magic, Summoning, and Psychic. These abilities were not taught to him—they were born within him, flowing as naturally as breath. It was said the earth bent at his steps, the skies hushed at his command, and no being dared challenge the equilibrium he enforced.

Yet, as time passed, whispers grew. Not of rebellion, but of doubt.

The Dignitary, once revered for his unmatched wisdom and power, grew distant. He refused companionship, denied disciples, and most importantly—refused to pass on his abilities, even though tradition insisted such powers be inherited. This denial sparked unrest.

Eventually, four powerful nobles came forth—not as enemies, but as concerned stewards of balance. They pleaded that the Dignitary share his gifts, ensure the future of the realm. But instead of hearing them, he condemned them. Branded as traitors, they were cast out—along with their followers.

Banished to the edges of creation, each noble came across a relic—remnants of the powers the Dignitary refused to share.

A sword that radiated Fight.

A storm cloud crackling with Magic.

A stone pulsing with the call of Summoning.

And a shimmering sphere infused with Psychic energy.

The nobles trained, mastered these gifts, and forged philosophies around them. Not to conquer, but to protect the world from the stagnation the Dignitary had imposed.

Then, unexpectedly, the Dignitary changed.

He took a lover.

For a time, he softened. But when he discovered she was pregnant, panic consumed him. He believed the child might one day rival his power. In a moment of darkness, he resolved to erase them both.

But the nobles returned.

The battle that followed shook the foundations of the dimension itself. Though still outmatched, the four nobles each drew upon their relics—linking their powers in a desperate moment.

When the four artifacts touched, the result was cataclysmic.

A surge of raw, unstable energy ripped through existence. The explosion not only destroyed the Dignitary and the woman he once loved, but shattered the entire dimension, creating countless parallel worlds scattered through the void.

The relics vanished, scattered across these newborn dimensions.

In the aftermath, the four nobles each went their own way, vowing never to reunite the relics again.

Peace, however uneasy, was restored.

Now, all the dimensions are governed by the Magisterium, a council forged by the descendants of the nobles. Though all four powers are respected, Psychics rose to dominate this new era—their gifts becoming the cornerstone of law, war, and order.

For years, the Magisterium has searched tirelessly for any trace of the Dignitary's bloodline... unaware of what may still linger in the shadows of forgotten worlds.
