Under Takeshi's control, the Sage Art chakra spun rapidly in two different directions.
Very soon, a massive vacuum zone formed between his arms, and the overwhelming pull made Urashiki's heart tremble in fear.
What was even more terrifying was that, because this was Sage Art chakra mixed with a huge amount of natural energy, Urashiki couldn't use the Ōtsutsuki clan's ability to absorb this ninjutsu at all.
If he got sucked into that thing, he would definitely die.
Realizing this, Urashiki began to struggle desperately, needing to escape this area at all costs.
Takeshi naturally wouldn't give him that chance and increased the output of his Sage Art chakra.
"Damned brat!"
Urashiki let out an unwilling roar, turning his hands into wings and attempting to fly toward the blue sky, but it was clearly useless.
His body spun as it was dragged toward Takeshi, and soon, the sound of bones snapping echoed from within the vacuum zone.
"That kid has created another outrageous technique."
Jiraiya muttered from the side. He understood the principle behind this ninjutsu, but to actually perform it would require extremely precise control over Wind Release chakra.
There was something that puzzled Jiraiya.
He had heard the technique name the boy shouted clearly—it was indeed Sage Art.
The chakra swirling around the boy was also undoubtedly Sage Art chakra.
But why… had the boy's appearance not changed at all?
Among the people Jiraiya knew, the one whose appearance changed the least upon entering Sage Mode was Minato.
Aside from the orange eye shadow and the toad-like pupils, Minato hardly changed in any other way.
Jiraiya, on the other hand, was far inferior—his Sage Mode had extremely obvious toad-like features.
Could learning the Senjutsu of a different sacred land really change certain things?
Jiraiya placed his hand on his chin, unconsciously rubbing it.
Clothing or fur—or perhaps countless mixed objects—produced violent tearing sounds as Takeshi ended the Divine Sandstorm of his own accord when he judged the timing to be right.
The moment the technique stopped, a tattered figure burst out, scrambling away like a wild dog without a leash.
Covered in all kinds of wounds, with both arms visibly deformed, Urashiki rolled several times across the ground and coughed out a mouthful of blood.
"What? Your Ōtsutsuki blood is red too, huh."
Takeshi slowly walked toward Urashiki.
Normally, this would be where people finished things with a Rasengan, right?
Looking at the battered Urashiki, Takeshi thought for a moment and decided to end the final act with the most classic technique.
In this world, there was only one way for the mastermind villain to die—being killed by some kind of Rasengan.
"You bastard..."
Urashiki glared at Takeshi in fury, creating chakra black rods to support his broken body as he stood.
"Don't think that just because you've reduced me to this state, everything ends here. I'll kill every last one of you—none of you are leaving alive!"
From his ruined form burst a massive amount of chakra that no ordinary being could imagine.
He raised his right hand high, the black chakra materializing. In just a few breaths, it formed the shape of a gigantic ribbonfish. In the creature's mouth, a red chakra sphere condensed with violent energy, and under Urashiki's control, it dropped toward the ground.
"Terrifying, terrifying… I bet even over in Konoha they've noticed this enormous thing by now, right?"
Jiraiya had already guessed that Sasuke and the others came from the future, so he naturally didn't want Konoha's shinobi interfering.
Taking advantage of everyone's distraction, Jiraiya quietly slipped away from the scene.
"That guy Urashiki… he can still unleash such a powerful technique?"
Boruto clenched his fists and looked toward Sasuke beside him.
Takeshi was also shocked—just sensing Urashiki's attack was enough to know it wasn't weaker than a Tailed Beast Bomb.
"Stop sleeping, Isobu. Time to work."
Without hesitation, Takeshi woke Isobu inside his body and told him to hurry up and output chakra.
"What? The hell—"
Isobu, who had just been woken up, hadn't figured out what was happening when he saw the enormous ribbonfish above them through Takeshi's eyes.
Letting out a very human-like exclamation, Isobu immediately pumped a massive amount of chakra into Takeshi.
"Should we go into full Tailed Beast Mode?" Isobu asked nervously, afraid Takeshi would die from this attack.
"Probably not." Feeling Sasuke's condition behind him, Takeshi nodded confidently.
In his hand, the Rasengan—originally only the size of a basketball—rapidly expanded under Isobu's full output, soon surpassing the size of Urashiki's red sphere.
"Sage Art: Giant Rasengan!"
"Idiot! You can't judge chakra power by size alone!" Urashiki shouted triumphantly.
The two attacks collided, and just as Urashiki said, Takeshi's side was immediately pushed back upon contact, his Rasengan slowly descending.
"Amaterasu!"
Black flames appeared on Urashiki's body at just the right moment, forcing him to shift part of his attention.
Already aware of what Sasuke planned, Takeshi countered instantly and lifted the Rasengan again.
And then, inwardly, he began complaining.
He had clearly changed the flow of history, so why was Sasuke's awakened ocular ability still Amaterasu?
That thing couldn't burn anyone to death at all!
As expected, just as Takeshi complained, the black flames on Urashiki's body quickly extinguished. After dealing with the Amaterasu, he once again overpowered Takeshi's Rasengan.
Just as Sasuke prepared to overexert himself and activate Susanoo to cover Takeshi, a red Susanoo appeared behind Urashiki.
Before Urashiki could react, he was struck in the back by the sword drawn from Susanoo, then directly hit by Takeshi's Rasengan.
"What are you doing?"
Uchiha Hikari looked at Takeshi, a little displeased.
How did this guy manage to provoke some formidable beings in just a moment while his gaze was away?
"Nothing. Anyway, your timing is perfect."
The Rasengan carried Urashiki into the sky. Takeshi watched for a while, and after seeing it explode into a brilliant firework, he withdrew his gaze and turned to look at Uchiha Hikari, who had landed after Susanoo was dispelled.
...
"So, what exactly is going on?"
Once he confirmed that Urashiki was completely dead, Takeshi deliberately took Sasuke to a deserted spot.
"Haven't you already guessed?"
Facing Takeshi's question, Sasuke didn't understand why the other was still puzzled when he seemed to know everything.
"I haven't guessed a damn thing! I'm asking about that kid!"
Takeshi lowered his voice and discreetly pointed at Boruto, who was curiously observing Uchiha Hikari.
The name, correct. The face, correct.
But what about the hair color and eye color?
Seeing the yellow hair streaked with a few pink strands, Takeshi roughly figured out the answer.
But this answer was just too—
Sasuke, unsurprised, said, "That's Naruto's son. Oh right, he also has a daughter, called Himawari."
"I know their names! I'm asking… I'm asking who the kid's mother is!" Takeshi covered his face, crouching on the ground, waiting for Sasuke's answer.
"Wait, don't tell me yet. I'll ask you first: who's your wife?" Takeshi suddenly remembered something, stood up, and grabbed Sasuke by the collar.
"Don't tell me your wife is Karin Uzumaki."
Sasuke helplessly scratched his head.
"Don't you already know everything?"
He really did.
How did the future end up like this?
It seemed he hadn't really meddled in their matchmaking, and even the composition of the Seventh Team was different from the original story.
"Alright, fine. I know everything now. How's the chakra-charged Karasuki doing? Make it hurry up and get you all out of here."
Takeshi was exhausted and didn't want to get involved in their affairs anymore.
However, Sasuke didn't leave as Takeshi suggested, instead silently watching him.
"What are you looking at? If you want to see the future, go see it yourself." Takeshi noticed Sasuke's gaze and snapped irritably.
Sasuke opened his mouth to say something but ultimately didn't.
"Right, later erase the memories of Jiraiya and Naruto. My… never mind." Takeshi wanted Sasuke to erase his own memory, given how surprising the companions turned out, but then thought about how satisfying it was to brutally defeat the Ōtsutsuki, and it seemed a pity to erase that.
"The problem is, I don't know where Jiraiya went."
Sasuke shrugged. Unlike in the original story, he wasn't as cold now and occasionally made a joke.
"Haha, I went to intercept Konoha's reinforcement troops. Seeing them could have caused trouble."
As soon as Sasuke finished speaking, Jiraiya crawled out from the grass.
"Really? I thought you were scared of Urashiki and ran away." Sasuke said, annoyed.
"Hey, hey, how exactly do you juniors see me?" Jiraiya felt this future Sasuke had a bias against him.
"Hmph." Sasuke snorted, not bothering with him.
After a while, he activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, tricked Naruto over, erased his and Jiraiya's memories, then bid farewell to Takeshi, disappearing with Boruto.
Only Uchiha Hikari remained, puzzled, not knowing what they were scheming.
"Don't worry about it, Hikari." Takeshi shook his head, looking at Naruto and Jiraiya, who had regained their senses and didn't know why they were here, and smiled.
"The future, huh? Really looking forward to it."
In a secluded corner no one could notice, Sasuke and Boruto stood, taking out the fully charged Karasuki.
"Are you sure you want to go back?" Karasuki looked up at Sasuke.
"Yeah, let's go back." Sasuke closed his eyes, trying hard not to look at where Takeshi and the others were.
Boruto stood beside him, frowning, seemingly thinking about something.
The moment Karasuki opened the space-time tunnel, Boruto opened his eyes, an expression of sudden realization on his face: "Shimura, I remember Kamui and Kagura-sensei's surnames were also…"
"You just noticed?" Sasuke staggered.
"So that means he's those two teachers'…"
Boruto's voice gradually faded along with the disappearance of the space-time tunnel, finally vanishing with the portal in this world.
