Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 — The Sigil and the Shrine

Chapter 3 — The Sigil and the Shrine

---

The next morning, Yuuto awoke to sunlight stabbing through his window and pain burning across his chest.

He sat up fast. His bedsheets were twisted, soaked in sweat.

Last night hadn't been a dream.

He looked in the mirror.

The sigil still glowed faintly—just beneath his collarbone. A symbol shaped like a spiral eye, curling inward.

He touched it.

The moment his fingers made contact—

FLASH.

He saw a vision: Aika, standing beneath cherry blossoms in the rain, naked, holding a blade to her own throat, whispering a name he didn't recognize.

> "She's coming… you must not touch her."

---

Later that day, Yuuto skipped his lectures. He couldn't focus. He kept seeing flashes—desire flickering off strangers, glimpses of their darkest thoughts. A teacher fantasizing about a student. A couple fighting while mentally undressing each other.

Desire Sight was awakening.

He walked the city until sunset, ending up near the edge of Tokyo—where neon turned to old stone and forgotten shrines whispered to the wind.

That's when he felt it: a pull.

Something... calling him.

---

At the top of a moss-covered stairway, he found a ruined shrine, half-swallowed by vines and silence. Torii gates stood broken. Crows sat on branches, watching.

And in the center of the shrine was a girl.

She was kneeling in prayer, dressed in a tattered shrine maiden's robe, white and red silk clinging to her skin from the rain. Her hair was long, jet black, soaked and wild like a storm. Her lips moved softly, chanting something Yuuto couldn't hear.

But her aura—it was thick with pain, lust, and danger.

And she was crying.

> "You shouldn't be here," she whispered without looking.

Yuuto stepped forward. "You... called me."

She looked up at him. Her eyes were violet.

> "I didn't. The curse inside me did."

---

Meet: Rin Kurozawa — The Possessed Shrine Maiden

Age: 20

Background: Once a miko-in-training at the Kurozawa Shrine. During a failed exorcism, a lust demon bound itself to her body, corrupting her spirit and cursing her with uncontrollable erotic energy.

Every time she prays, it fights her.

Every time she's touched, it takes control.

She's been alone, afraid of hurting anyone who gets too close.

---

> "I sense her mark on you," Rin said softly, her gaze falling to Yuuto's chest.

"You met the silver-haired one. The cursed kisser."

> "Aika," Yuuto said.

Rin flinched, as if the name burned her ears.

> "She almost broke me once. You shouldn't trust her."

> "Then why do you seem like you want to kiss me right now?" he asked.

Her cheeks flushed, but her eyes darkened.

> "Because the demon inside me wants you."

---

The wind shifted. The shrine seemed to breathe.

Rin stepped closer, body trembling. Her fingers reached out—but she stopped inches from him.

> "Don't let me touch you," she said. "Unless you're ready to see what's inside me."

---

Yuuto didn't step back.

He reached out.

He touched her cheek.

The second he did—

Her back arched. Her eyes rolled back.

Her voice—suddenly deeper, darker—growled:

> "Finally… a vessel strong enough to break."

---

Rin gasped. Her robe fell loose, revealing pale skin covered in ritual seals, glowing with crimson heat.

She tackled him to the shrine floor, mouth on his, breath hot, body demanding. Her hands clawed at his shirt, her thighs tightening around his hips.

Yuuto should've fought it.

But the sigil on his chest pulsed—and he saw her true self.

A girl crying alone after the exorcism.

Begging to be saved.

Begging for someone who could take her… without losing control.

---

And Yuuto did.

Not by resisting.

But by letting her see him—his own darkness, his craving for more, and his decision:

> "Then break me," he whispered.

Their bodies met—furious, raw, and otherworldly. Pleasure and power mixed like blood and rain.

And when it was over, Rin lay limp on top of him, the shrine quiet again. Her breath slowed.

> "You didn't die," she whispered.

> "You didn't devour me," he replied.

She smiled, just a little.

> "Then maybe… you really are hers."
