The next morning, after having breakfast; Lincoln, his friends, and their Digimon parnters meet up near the vehicles that were in the safe zone to decide who was going to the next obelisk.
"I'll stay here with Motimon and keep an eye on the safe zone." said Zach.
"Hopefully he Digivolves to Gotsumon before any of Titamon's forces shows up and tries getting in." said Stella.
"Who's bringing us to the next obelisk?" asked Liam.
"I am!" said Mr Bolhofner as he approaches the group.
"Okay, then; let's head out!" said Lincoln.
"You got it, Loud!" said Mr Bolhofner.
Mr. Bolhofner was driving the school van with Lincoln, Agumon, Clyde, Gaomon, Stella, Lalamon, Rusty, Elecmon, Liam, and Kudamon through Royal Woods on their way to where the next obelisk is with the intention to destroy it and be one step closer to getting rid of the barrier around the Royal Woods Arena, defeat Titamon, and free the people he's holding captive.
"So, Liam; is Kudamon fully rested after that battle at the Royal Woods Cemetery?" asked Stella.
"You bet, Stella." replied Liam; Kudamon nods in response.
"Where do you think the next obelisk is gonna be?" asked Clyde.
"We'll find out when we get to where that light is coming from." said Lincoln.
After a long drive just outside of the city, they reach the area where the next obelisk is located: Ketcham Park.
"Here's the place." said Stella.
"It's weird not seeing kids playing around on the playground." said Stella.
"I remember when I came here with Rock Lincoln and accidentally wrecked Lana and Lola's sand castle." said Clyde as he shuddered at the memory of the twins pummeling him with their sand shovels.
"Well, I doubt parents would want their children out here with a bunch of evil Digimon lurking around." said Lincoln.
"Let's just look for the obelisk." said Rusty.
"We should also be careful if there are more Vilemon around here." said Lincoln.
"You got it, Loud!" said Mr. Bolhofner.
"Keep your voice down." Stella whispered. "We don't want to lose the element of surprise."
"Right." said Mr Bohlhofner in a more quiet tone of voice. After he parks the van, the group continue following the beam of light; they soon see the obelisk in the distance, just past the playground area.
"There it is." said Lincoln.
"Let's hurry and get rid of it before one of Titamon's goons shows up." said Rusty. As the kids and their Digimon partners run towards the obelisk, the ground beneath them starts to shake a bit.
"What's going on?!" asked Stella. A bunch of green vines suddenly shoot out from the cracks caused by the tremor.
"Careful, everyone!" said Lincoln. The ground opens up a bit more and a very large, three-headed, dragonlike Digimon that had a body made of roots and vines, and a large mouth on its abdomen; comes out.
"What's that Digimon?" asked Rusty. Stella points her artifact at the Digimon in front of them.
"That's Hydramon!" said Stella. "Mega Level, Plant Type, Virus Attribute; its special attack is Biotoxin!"
"You humans may have destroyed two obelisks, but you will not get this one!" said Hydramon.
"Don't think you can mess with the Rustman!" said Rusty.
"Guys, looks like it's time to do some weed-whacking!" said Clyde as he and the other kids look at their Digimon partners.
"You guys ready?" asked Lincoln. His and the others Digimon partners nodded in response. The group pushes the buttons on their artifacts and their Digimon began spinnning.
"Agumon, Digivolve to..." said Agumon as he continued to spin; he soon turned into GeoGreymon.
"GeoGreymon!" said GeoGreymon.
"Gaomon, Digivolve to..." said Gaomon as he continued to spin; he soon became Gaogamon.
"Gaogamon!" said Gaogamon.
"Lalamon, Digivolve to..." said Lalamon as she continued to spin until she became Sunflowmon.
"Sunflowmon!" said Sunflowmon.
"Elecmon, Digivolve to..." said Elecmon as he continued spinning until he became Leomon.
"Leomon!" said Leomon.
"Kudamon, Digivolve to..." said Kudamon as he continued to spin until he became Reppamon.
"Reppamon!" said Reppamon. The groups artifacts began to glow and they pushed glowing buttons on their artifact.
"GeoGreymon, Digivolve to..." said GeoGreymon. A fiery tornado surrounds GeoGreymon; it vanishes, revealing RizeGreymon.
"RizeGreymon!" said RizeGreymon.
"Gaogamon, Digivolve to..." said Gaogamon. A blue cyclone of energy surrounds Gaogamon; it vanishes, revealing MachGaogamon.
"MachGaogamon!" said MachGaogamon.
"Sunflowmon, Digivolve to..." said Sunflowmon. A cyclone of flower petals surrounds Sunflowmon; it breaks apart, revealing Lilamon.
"Lilamon!" said Lilamon.
"Leomon, Digivolve to..." said Leomon. He spinned faster and he began to glow; when the spinning and glowing stopped, he was now GrapLeomon.
"GrapLeomon!" said GrapLeomon.
"Reppamon, Digivolve to..." said Reppamon. A cyclone of light surrounds Reppamon; it disappears, revealing Chirinmon.
"Chirinmon!" said Chirinmon.
"Let's turn this Digimon into mulch!" said RizeGreymon.
"Yeah!" shouted the other Digimon as they all charged at Hydramon.
"Be careful, guys!" said Lincoln.
"Biotoxin!" shouts Hydramon as it releases a green mist from its large mouth at the Digimon, covering them, and dropping most of them, except Lilamon, to their knees.
"What is this stuff?" asked RizeGreymon as he tries getting to his feet.
"I can't breathe." MachGaogamon weakly says.
"This isn't good." said Rusty.
"How come Lilamon doesn't seem to be affected by that stuff?" asked Clyde when he notices that Lilamon was just fine.
"Maybe it's because she's part plant herself." said Stella.
"Whatever the reason, she's the only one in any condition to take on that oversized weed." said Liam.
"But can she take on a Mega by herself?" asked Clyde.
"She has to try." said Stella. "Hopefully the effects of that gas are only temporary."
"Time for me to do a little pruning." said Lilamon. "Lilac Dagger!" A glowing knife appears in Lilamon's hand; she leaps at Hydramon and slashes it across one of its faces. It roared before raises one of its front legs and swats Lilamon with it, knocking her to the ground.
"Beauty Shock!" shouts Lilamon as he thrusts its fingers into Hydramon's torso and releases an electricial shock onto it, hurting it.
"Scatterblaster!" shouts Hydramon as it fires energy blasts from its mouth and they hit Lilamon, knocking her to the ground.
"Don't give up!" said Stella.
"I won't; Lila Shower!" shouts Lilamon and she fires beams from her fingers that hits Hydramon, making it roar in pain.
"Yeah! Take that you gardener's nightmare!" shouts Rusty. Hydramon comes towards Lilamon. It tries to bite her with its middle head, but she jumps out of the way; unfortunately, that left her open for a headbutt from the left head, knocking Lilamon to the ground.
"Scatterblaster!" shouts Hydramon. They fire energy blasts from their mouths that hits Lilamon, damaging her; she De-Digivolves back to Lalamon.
"Lalamon!" said Stella as she runs to Lalamon and picks her up. "Are you okay?"
"Yes." Lalamon weakly replied. Stella looks up to see Hydramon approaching them.
"Time to finish you all off, and I'll start with the flower." said Hydramon.
"No! I won't let you hurt Lalamon!" shouts Stella.
"Stella; save yourself." said Lalamon.
"I won't leave you! You and me have been together in your world and mine, and I have no intention of leaving your side!" said Stella. "I love you, Lalamon!" Stella's artifact suddenly begins to glow; she looks to see a button giving off a golden light. "Could it be?" She pushes the glowing button; Lalamon begins surging with energy and she jumps out of Stella's arms.
"Lalamon, Warp Digvolve to..." said Lalamon as a white light turns her into a white, glowing Sunflowmon, then a white glowing Lilamon, and finally, a humanoid, purple Digimon with a yellow and green, lotus shaped head, a white flower around each of her arms and around her waist resembling a skirt, holding a staff with rainbow colored flowers on the end of it on her right hand and another staff with wings and a white snake and a black snake coiled around it on her left hand.
"LOTUSMON!" shouts the new Digimon now known as Lotusmon. Stella aims her artifact at Lotusmon.
"That's Lotusmon." said Stella. "Mega Level, Fairy Type, Data Attribute; special attack, Seven's Fantasia." Lotusmon aims her staff in her left hand at her fallen Digimon allies. Rusty looks at Lotusmon with his tongue hanging out.
"Serpent's Cure!" said Lotusmon. A white aura fires out of the staff and onto her allies; they soon got back on their feet.
"Hey, I feel much better." said RizeGreymon.
"Same here." said MachGaogamon. GrapLeomon looks at Lotusmon.
"Thanks for helping us." said GrapLeomon.
"I poisoned you fools once, I'll do it again!" shouts Hydramon. "Bio..."
"Seven's Fantasia!" shouts Lotusmon as she fires a multicolored aura out of the staff on her right head; it consumes Hydramon.
"What the!" shouts Hydramon as the aura surrounds it; when it disappears, he sees himself in a devastated forest; he looks around in awe at the devastation.
"What's with Hydramon?" asked Clyde, who, along with everyone else were still in Ketcham Park, looking at a dazed Hydramon.
"It's in its own fantasy world; this gives us a chance to finish it off." said Lotusmon.
"You got it; Rising Destroyer!" shouts RizeGreymon as he fires energy blasts from his chest and wing cannons that hits Hydramon, damaging it.
"Winning Knuckle!" shouts MachGaogamon as he runs at Hydramon's left head and punches it.
"Holy Wave!" shouts Chirinmon as he fires a white aura out of his wings that hits Hydramon's right head.
"Vortex Kick!" shouts GrapLeomon as he releases a barrage of kicks onto Hydramon's torso. The attacks causes Hydramon's illusion to disapate; it finds itself back in Ketcham Park; it looks to see Lotusmon aiming the staff in her left hand at Hydramon.
"What the?!" shouts Hydramon.
"Serpent's Ruin!" shouts Lotusmon as she fires a black aura out of the staff at Hydramon that consumes it. Hydramon lets out a roar of anguish before its body disintegrates.
"Yeah!" cheered Stella.
"Just one more thing to take care of." said Lotusmon. She leaps at the obelisk and slashes it with the wings of her staff on her left hand, cutting it in half and it disintegrates.
"That takes care of another obelisk." said Stella. Lotusmon nods before she De-Digivolves back into Pabumon while the other Digimon returned to their Rookie Forms.
"Great job, Pabumon." said Lincoln.
"You were awesome!" said Clyde.
"Feel free to turn into Lotusmon anytime you want." said Rusty with a goofy smile on his face.
"Anyway, let's get back to the safe zone." said Stella. The group heads back to the van, where Mr Bohlhofner was waiting for them, and climb into it.
"Mission accomplished!" said Mr Bolhofner as he starts driving the van back to Tall Timbers Park.
The group reaches the safe zone and enter the barrier where they fill Zach in on what happened.
"Glad you're all okay." said Zach.
"You should've seen Lotusmon." said Rusty. "She was so cool, and hot!"
"As hot as Angewomon?" asked Zach.
"Weeeeeeeeeeeell, I wouldn't go that far, but she's close." said Rusty.
"Let's just report to Mayor Davis, then get something to eat." said Lincoln.
Later, in Camperzilla, Lincoln was in Camperzilla with Agumon, writing another entry in his journal; he also draws Lotusmon and Hydramon in it also.
"Well, we got rid of half the obelisks making that barrier around Royal Woods Arena." said Lincoln.
"I'll bet the last three will have stronger Digimon guarding them." said Agumon.
"Yeah." said Lincoln. "I hope we can destroy them."
"We will." said Agumon. "But we should all get some sleep for the next one."
"Good idea." said Lincoln. He turns off the light over his bed, and he and Agumon go to sleep.
Meanwhile, in the Royal Woods Arena, Titamon was furiously pacing around with Lilithmon watching.
"Those humans and their little Digimon dare to defy me?!" asked Titamon.
"They are foolish to think they can defeat you, Lord Titamon." said Lilithmon.
"Still, they are becoming an annoyance." said Titamon. "But if they dare to challenge me, then I will rectify the mistake I made in the Digital World when I didn't destroy them when I had the chance."
Lincoln's group has successfully destroyed another obelisk. Will they manage to destroy the remaining ones? Wait and find out.
