Lincoln, along with his friends and their Digimon partners were heading through the city, in Vanzilla being driven by TODD, to the Royal Woods Arena, where Titamon, along with his human prisoners, were at.
"I can't belive we're going to take on Titamon." said Rusty with a shudder.
"At least now that our partners can Digivolve to their Mega Forms, we'll stand a better chance than the last time we went against him." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, he blew our partners in their Ultimate Forms away just by swinging his sword." said Zach.
"I'll bet Lilithmon will be at the arena with him." said Stella.
"Let the Rustman work his magic on her and she'll happily surrender." said Rusty as he tries to smooth his hair back.
"Does that mean you're not interested in Angewomom anymore?" asked Clyde.
"Hey, I didn't say that!" said Rusty as he waves his hands in front of him in a defensive manner.
"What if she heard you being interested in another woman and got jealous?" Stella sarcastically asked.
"Angewomon; please forgive me!" said Rusty in a pleading manner, making Stella do an eyeroll.
"Can we just focus on Titamon for now?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah, we want to be ready for anything that varmint has coralled up in the Royal Woods Arena with him." said Liam.
"I'll bet he has his strongest guys with him." said Elecmon.
When the group gets a few blocks from the Royal Woods Arena, Lincoln asked TODD to stop Vanzilla.
"What's up, Lincoln?" asked Clyde.
"Now's not the time for a bathroom break." said Rusty.
"It's not that." said Lincoln. "I don't think we should just waltz up to the front doors all willy-nilly and expect a warm welcome."
"Yeah, there could be a Digimon standing guard." said Zach.
"We should walk the rest of the way and scope the arena out and see what's there." said Lincoln.
"You really are the 'Man with the Plan', Lincoln." said Agumon.
"You know it, buddy." said Lincoln. The kids and their Digimon partners climb out of Vanzilla and walked down the street until they got to the building next door to the Royal Woods Arena; outside the main doors were several Vilemon watching the area.
"Just some Vilemon." said Gaomon.
"We should take them out quickly before they can warn Titamon." said Gotsumon.
"I got this." said Lalamon as she quietly floats over to a side of the building that was closest to the Vilemon; when she gets there, she begins her plan. "Lullaby!" She then starts singing a soothing melody that soon lulls the Vilemon to sleep.
"Good thinking, Lalamon." Stella says to Lalamon when she returns to the group. "Hopefully, Titamon will believe that they're sleeping on the job."
"Let's get inside." said Lincoln as he and the rest of the group head towards the front doors; suddenly, something that looked like a large red robotic dinosaur with a cannon on its chest, and cannons on its shoulders, and wrists.
"Triple Cannon Shot!" shouts the robotic dinosaur, firing the cannons on one of its wrists and blasts the Vilemon, causing them to disintegrate.
"What's that?" asked Rusty. Liam points his artifact at the creature.
"That there's Destromon." said Liam. "Ultimate Level, Cyborg Type, Virus Attribute; special attack is Triple Cannon Shot."
"Who's snooping around here?!" asked the creature now known as Destromon.
"What should we do?" asked Clyde.
"One of us can keep that guy busy while the rest of us sneaks inside." said Lincoln.
"Who's gonna stay?" asked Stella.
"Me and Elecmon got this." said Rusty.
"You sure?" asked Clyde.
"Yeah, guys." said Rusty before he holds out his artifact and pushes a button, making Elecmon spin.
"Elecmon, Digivolve to..." said Elecmon as he kept spinning until he became Leomon.
"...LEOMON!" shouts Leomon. He continues to spin. "Leomon, Digivolve to..." He began to spin faster; when he stopped, he was now GrapLeomon.
"GRAPLEOMON!" shouts GrapLeomon. Destromon, hearing GrapLeomon, turned around and sees him.
"There you are!" said Destromon as he sees Rusty and GrapLeomon.
"Over here, you pile of junk." said Rusty. Destronon charges towards GrapLeomon.
"Cyclone Turbine!" GrapLeomon spins around and kicks Destromon, sending it back away from the arena. GrapLeomon runs towards Destromon; Rusty turned towards the others and motions them to get into the arena. They nod and walk through the entrance.
"Juggernaut Blast!" shouts Destromon. It fires an energy blast out of the cannon on its chest and it hits GrapLeomon, sending him back, but he lands on its feet.
"Vortex Kick!" shouts GrapLeomon as he unleashes a barrage of kicks that hits Destromon, knocking it back.
"Long Range Buster Cannon!" shouts Destromon; it fires energy blasts from the cannons on its back and they hit GrapLeomon, knocking him to the ground. Destromon walks to GrapLeomon and picks him. "Time to finish this." Energy begins charging in its chest cannon.
"I couldn't agree with you more; The King of Fists!" shouts GrapLeomon; the turbine on his right arm spins fast. He punches Destromon through its chest. It begins to explode around Destromon's body until it disintegrated.
"Too easy." said Rusty. GrapLeomon nods before De-Digivolving back to Elecmon.
"Should we try to catch up with the others?" asked Elecmon.
"Sure." replied Rusty.
Meanwhile, inside the Royal Woods Arena, the rest of their kids and their partners were making their way down the corridor, trying to find Titamon and the people who're being held prisoner.
"Wish we knew where to go in here." said Lincoln.
"The place isn't infinite, so everyone's gotta be around here somewhere." said Stella.
"Hold it right there!" a voice says from in front of the group; they look to see a small Digimon with a sphere-shaped body with arms and legs, covered in armor, with one arm having a red hand with blades on it while the other was a blaster cannon.
"What's that Digimon?" asked Liam. Zach points his artifact at it.
"That's Metal Mamemon." said Zach. "Ultimate Level, Cyborg Type, Data and Vaccine Attributes at the same time; its special attack is Metal Smirk Bomb."
"You will go no further!" said the Digimon now identified as Metal Mamemon.
"We got this." said Gotsumon as he and Zach step forward.
"Be careful." said Clyde as he, Lincoln, Stella, and Liam, all head down another corridor.
"Don't you run from me!" said Metal Mamemon as it tries to chase after the group.
"Rock Fist!" shouts Gotsumon before he fires a rock out of his head that hits Metal Mamemon in its face, not doing much but draw its attention towards him.
"I'll deal with you before I deal with your friends!" said Metal Mamemon as it points its bladed hand towards Gotsumon.
"Ready to rock this guy, Gotsumon?" Zach asked his partner.
"Like you had to ask?" Gotsumon replied; Zach smirks as he presses a button on his artifact, causing Gotsumon to start glowing.
"Gotsumon; Digivolve to..." Gotsumon says as he starts to spin; when he was done, he was now...
"GOLEMON!" shouts Golemon. Zach pushes the button on his artifact again, making a spiral of crystal rocks surround Golemon; when it dissipated, he was now...
"METEORMON!" shouts Meteormon.
"Shaft Spike!" shouts Metal Mamemon as it lunges at Meteormon with its claws drawn back before swining them at Meteormon.
"Rock Tornado!" shouts Meteormon as he swings his arms wildly; both Digimon's attacks collided, their combined force sending them flying across the floor.
"You okay, Meteormon?" Zach asked his partner.
"Barely a scratch." Meteormon replied as he gets up and dusts himself off.
"Let's see if I can change that!" said Metal Mamemon as it points his blaster arm at Meteormon. "Magnetic Beam!" A beam of energy fires from its arm towards Meteormon as he crosses his arms out in front of him; the attack hits, causing a fiery explosion that sends Meteormon crashing to the floor.
"Meteormon!" shouts Zach. Meteormon gets up and charges at Metal Mamemon with his fist drawn back.
"Big Bang Blow!" shouts Meteormon as he punches Metal Mamemon in its face, sending it flying through a wall; it gets up and feels a dent on its face plating.
"How dare you!" shouts Metal Mamemon as it points its blaster arm at Meteormon again. "Metal Smirk Bomb!" It fires a destructive energy blast from its arm that heads right for its opponent.
"Cosmo Flash!" shouts Meteormon as he creates a portal that releases a big barrage of meteorites that push back against Metal Mamemon's attack.
"You... will not... defeat me!" said Metal Mamemon as it struggles to gain dominance in the battle.
"Wanna bet?!" asked Meteormon as his attack starts to push back Metal Mamemon's until it reaches its target and causes a bunch of explosions that envelop it.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" shouts Metal Mamemon as its armor is shattered, and the rest of its body disintegrates.
"Good work, Meteormon!" said Zach. Meteormon reverts back to Gotsumon, just as Rusty and Elecmon arrive on the scene.
"Took care of our problem." said Rusty.
"Took care of one that just came up." said Zach.
"Let's hurry and catch up with the others." said Elecmon as he and the others ran down the corridor where Lincoln, Clyde, Stella, Liam, and their partners just went down.
In the main arena of the building, several humans were trapped in strange, green cocoons as energy was being drained and transferred into a large orb while Titamon and Lilithmon both watch.
"Just a bit more." said Titamon.
"Yes, and your plan will be fulfilled." said Lilithmon. A Vilemon suddenly comes over to Titamon.
"Master." said the Vilemon. "The humans who oppose you are here, and they've already taken out two of your guards."
"Here's some worse news for you, Vilemon." said Titamon. "I don't believe in 'Don't shoot the messenger'!" He then swings his large sword at the Vilemon, slicing it in half, causing its body to disintegrate and get absorbed into his blade.
"What do we do?" asked Lilithmon. "We don't want those humans ruining your plan."
"Cerberusmon!" shouts Titamon, making the black dog Digimon enter the main arena.
"Yes, Master Titamon?" Cerberusmon replied.
"Take care of the intruders." said Titamon.
"With pleasure." said Cerberusmon. "I've been waiting to settle the score with MachGaogamon since our last battle in the Digital World!"
"Then go and make use of the power I bestowed upon you!" said Titamon.
"Yes, Master." said Cerberusmon.
