"Aishi, I'm ready! Let's go!"
No.18's clear voice rang from upstairs.
Aishi snapped out of his thoughts and replied, "Alright, I'm waiting on the first floor."
Forget it.
No need to dwell on it.
The universe was huge—encountering a few powerful beings was to be expected.
No need to worry. It's not like he couldn't beat them.
"Aishi, let's go."
No.18 came down the stairs at a calm pace.
The first thing that caught his eye was a pair of perfectly toned, pearly-white legs.
Today, she wore a simple black dress—elegant and cool in aura.
Her skin was naturally pale, and even without any makeup, her face remained stunningly beautiful and coldly alluring.
Aishi walked over and pinched her cheek.
"So cute."
"Stop being a flirt. Let's go already!"
No.18 swatted his hand away and rolled her eyes.
…
Southern Capital.
On a small island—
Today was the once-every-five-years Tenkaichi Budokai (World Martial Arts Tournament). Earth had gathered countless people either registering to compete or coming to spectate.
Jet planes and massive cruise ships were arriving one after another.
Surrounded by scenic mountains and waters, this island was beautiful.
The bustling crowds made it clear—the tournament's popularity was still sky-high.
Registration area for the Tenkaichi Budokai.
Gokuu and the others had gathered here.
They hadn't seen each other in over a year—lots to catch up on.
After greetings—
Gokuu looked around in confusion. "Huh?"
"Where's Aishi?"
Krillin looked confused too. "Yeah, didn't he say he'd be coming?"
Gohan scratched his head. "No idea. I already told Shishou. Maybe he's not here yet."
"Hmph, maybe he chickened out."
Vegeta crossed his arms and snorted coldly.
He too had been looking for Aishi from the moment he arrived.
But still no sign of him.
This past year, Vegeta had trained day and night.
No one could understand the hardship he endured!
All to avenge the humiliation of being knocked out by Aishi in one strike.
Now that he couldn't find him—how could he accept that?
"Haha, that's fine too. With him gone, I might just make it into the top five!"
Krillin grinned cheerfully.
"What do you want top five for?" Bulma asked, puzzled.
"Hehe, win the prize money and buy baby formula…"
Krillin rubbed his nonexistent nose with an awkward smile.
"Huh?"
That got everyone's attention.
Gokuu was stunned, then exclaimed, "Krillin, you have a kid now?!"
"Yup." Krillin nodded proudly.
"The kid's mom?" Bulma was shocked. It had only been a year, right?
Last time they met, you didn't even have a girlfriend.
Now you've got a kid?
"Maron," Kuririn replied with a grin.
Piccolo didn't understand Earthling love affairs, but he had heard about Krillin's.
Wasn't Maron his ex?
Piccolo asked, confused, "Weren't you dumped?"
Bulma added, "Yeah, wasn't she all about money? How'd you win her back with nothing?"
Yamcha, meanwhile, looked at Krillin with a complicated expression—a hint of pity in his eyes.
"Come on, Krillin, no matter how down bad we are, you can't raise someone else's kid…"
As the self-proclaimed romance expert, he felt he had to speak.
Everyone knew Maron was gold-digging and flirty.
And Krillin? Not exactly rich or handsome.
And this happened in just a year.
That could only mean one thing—
Krillin was raising someone else's child.
Gokuu gasped. "Krillin, are you raising someone else's kid?!"
Listening to everyone's chatter—
Krillin's face turned red with frustration. He glared at Yamcha.
"You're raising someone else's kid!"
"I got her back with my charm! And the kid is mine!"
Just then, Bulma had an epiphany.
"Oh~"
"I get it. That time you borrowed the Dragon Radar from me—you were going to use a wish on that, weren't you?"
That one sentence—
Made everything click for the group.
Yamcha laughed. "So you used a Dragon Ball wish to get money, huh?"
"Respect."
Bulma shook her head with regret. "Tch, what a waste. If you needed money, just ask me! Why waste a whole wish?"
Krillin scratched his bald head, clearly embarrassed.
Gokuu smiled. "It's fine. It's just one Dragon Ball wish. If Krillin's happy, then it's all worth it."
With that—
Everyone stopped teasing Krillin and genuinely congratulated him.
Just then, Gohan looked in a certain direction—his eyes lit up.
"Shishou!"
"And Shishou's wife!"
At the tournament entrance, Aishi and No.18 walked in calmly.
Aishi greeted everyone with a smile.
Gokuu was visibly thrilled. "Aishi, you're finally here!"
"I've gotten way stronger. This time I'm gonna blow your mind!"
Vegeta, seeing Aishi at last, finally relaxed his furrowed brow.
He stepped forward confidently. "Kakarot—and Aishi—you better be ready. This time I'll crush you both!"
"No one's a match for me!"
Aishi just shook his head helplessly, not saying much.
But in his heart, he thought:
You two better get past Gohan first.
After registering, the group headed to the waiting area.
On the way—
They encountered two unexpected visitors:
Kaiōshin Shin and his attendant Kibito.
When Aishi saw the two, he fell silent.
Looks like Majin Buu had awakened early.
Wasn't it supposed to be six years later?
No matter.
Things were different now.
Majin Buu wouldn't be causing much trouble this time.
Just like in the original story—
When the two goofy gods appeared—
Piccolo was instantly overwhelmed by their divine pressure, drenched in sweat and gasping for air.
After putting on their mysterious act, the two vanished.
Leaving everyone bewildered.
"Piccolo, you okay?"
"Were they really that scary?"
Gokuu asked, puzzled.
"Mm… they gave off the feeling of being supreme beings…"
Piccolo looked serious.
"Relax. Just a Kaiōshin. He can't do anything to you."
Aishi said casually.
"Kaiōshin?"
Everyone looked confused.
"He's a god in charge of life and creation in the universe. Above the Grand Kaiō, but below the God of Destruction."
Aishi explained.
That was a lot to take in.
Everyone was still digesting the info.
But Aishi didn't plan on going into detail.
He just said, "Just remember—those two are good guys. Just a bit dramatic."
With that—
Everyone relaxed.
As long as they weren't enemies.
Gokuu stepped forward, curious. "Aishi, what's a God of Destruction?"
Vegeta quickly turned his head to listen.
"Where there is creation, there must be destruction. The God of Destruction is responsible for destroying planets to maintain universal balance."
Aishi explained calmly.
"Hiiiisss—"
Everyone gasped.
A god who destroys planets?
Krillin looked worried. "Wait, would we be destroyed too?"
"Of course."
As someone who knew the plot, Aishi was well aware—
Beerus would definitely come to Earth.
That much was certain.
As for whether he'd destroy the planet—
That would depend entirely on their strength. If they could beat Beerus, Earth would be safe.
If not—Earth would be toast.
Of course, that was the extreme case.
In reality, Beerus might end up befriending them.
He wasn't a stubborn god.
Beerus could be reasoned with. If you fought him and gave him a good time—
He'd spare the planet.
But Aishi didn't tell them that—he wanted to scare them a bit.
Make them train harder.
"Is the God of Destruction that powerful?" Vegeta asked, frowning, clearly displeased.
"Absolutely. Even if I go all out, I still can't beat him."
Aishi said flatly.
And that was the truth.
To defeat Beerus, he'd need 100% unlocked Gogeta—
And even then, it might not be enough.
There was still a chance he'd lose.
