Chapter 43 - The Reclaimer

"If the system can break me, I'll break the system back."

---

The ruins were silent now.

No system warnings. No enemy voices. Just the heavy breathing of a boy who had nearly become something beyond a player… but not yet a god.

Hari pushed himself up from the shattered stone, his fingers twitching with new data flooding his veins. What the Compiler had left behind wasn't just skill fragments.

It was a code core—still flickering, still alive.

Floating in the air was a pulsating black-and-violet prism, crackling with forbidden knowledge.

> [System Alert: Corrupted System Core Available]

→ Consume to unlock hidden protocol?

→ Risk: Identity Fragmentation, 12.7%

→ Warning: No rollback possible.

Hari stared at it for a moment. Then, without hesitation, he reached forward.

> "You tried to erase my story. Now I'll learn how to rewrite yours."

He grabbed the core.

It screamed in binary.

🔧 Rebuilding the Broken

The world around him distorted. Not physically—structurally.

Strings of code flashed across his vision. Walls blurred into command lines. Sky became syntax.

He was inside the root of the system—just for a second.

And then—like a lightning strike—he was back.

The prism shattered.

Hari gasped, falling to one knee.

And then smiled.

> [You have acquired Trait: Reclaimer]

➤ Allows limited access to ancient or corrupted system components.

➤ May reforge broken skills, unlock sealed areas, or resurrect deprecated classes.

🧬 The World Reacts

Far away in an obsidian citadel, the Council of Silent Codex stirred.

The glass on a surveillance pillar shattered.

One robed figure rose.

> "An anomaly has breached the 4th layer."

"A Reclaimer has awakened."

Another voice growled behind an encrypted helm:

> "Then we hunt him before he remembers who he was."

🔥 Hari's Next Move

Back in the shattered ruins, Hari stood tall.

His system now whispered more than quests—it offered choices. Dangerous ones.

A flickering portal opened nearby—unstable and reeking of void energy.

> [New Region Accessed: Sector Null – Forgotten Data Graveyard]

An area where old versions of Neavo's world were deleted… and monsters never meant to exist crawl through memory.

Hari took one last look at the glowing system window:

> "Path: Hunter? Hero? God?"

He closed it with a smirk.

> "Wrong question."

"The path... is mine now."

With that, he stepped into the unstable gate.
