Chapter 206 - Chapter 206: Garden of Poetry: Echoes of War

"Irminsul, Sumeru City... I think I can already guess where this plot is heading..."

Meanwhile, in Little Bear's live stream, after watching the entire introduction to the new region, the corner of Little Bear's mouth twitched involuntarily.

What's with this familiar feeling? Am I still stuck in the Flower God's Festival reincarnation cycle?

[Lumina: Let the world completely forget me!]

[Lumina: Farewell, people of Sumeru. May you all have sweet dreams tonight...]

[Holy crap, the PV mentioned Corruption! Are they going to pull another 'purification' stunt? (covers face and cries)]

[If they reuse that plot, I won't feel any emotional resonance this time. (smiles)]

"Surely not," Little Bear said, shaking his head as he watched the screen. "The other two-word game already used this trope. Doing it here would just feel stale."

Using the same plot device twice, unless the story is exceptionally well-written, players will definitely reject it...

"Forget about the plot for now. Hurry up and reveal the gacha banners! I wonder who's getting a rerun in Version 1.7?"

Abandoning the plot speculation, Little Bear refocused his attention on the special preview stream, his voice tinged with anticipation.

In the live stream, the special preview program began introducing the characters. First, they played a demonstration of Lumina's skills, followed by her Character Portrait appearing on the big screen.

"Lady Lumina is a 5-star Abundance character with the Imaginary Attribute," Owlbert announced.

As the Character Portrait appeared, Owlbert launched into his professional introduction.

"Lady Lumina's Basic Attack deals Imaginary Attribute damage to all enemies, ignoring weaknesses to inflict Toughness Break, while also restoring a portion of our entire team's HP."

"If you unlock the Trace 'Benevolent Heart,' Lady Lumina's Basic Attack will additionally restore one Skill Point."

"Yay! Dan Heng's mouth is practically splitting from smiling!" March 7th exclaimed, raising her hands in celebration after hearing Owlbert's description of Lumina's Basic Attack.

"Healing allies while also healing Skill Points... isn't that the true essence of Abundance?" Chibi Lumina chimed in gently.

"Exactly! Lady Lumina is absolutely right! Healing allies is nothing special; true 'Abundance' lies in healing Skill Points!"

Hearing Lumina's words, Owlbert immediately fawned over her before continuing his explanation:

"When Lady Lumina unleashes her Skill, it restores all our team members to their maximum HP and grants them a powerful buff."

"Moreover, if an enemy attacks after Lady Lumina uses her Skill, they will suffer a significant debuff."

"Huh... doesn't this sound a bit like a Harmony character?"

As Owlbert described Lumina's Skill effects, the more familiar it sounded. Why does this Skill sound so much like something a Harmony character would have?

"True Abundance can't just be about healing—it needs to support allies too! What good is just restoring HP? Personal strength is what truly matters," Chibi Lumina said, covering her mouth and giggling as she observed Owlbert's bewildered expression.

"Y-yes, you're absolutely right, Lady Lumina!" Owlbert exclaimed, instantly dismissing his doubts. He nodded furiously in agreement.

"What's the point of Abundance that only heals? Only Abundance that can both heal and support is true Abundance!"

To further ingratiate himself with his superior, Owlbert added:

"Lady Lumina's Ultimate will unleash an absolutely breathtaking Garden Domain!"

"Within this Domain, Lady Lumina's Energy Value will be locked, preventing her from gaining or losing Energy."

"Conversely, all allied characters within the Domain will receive positive effects, while all enemy units will suffer negative effects."

"Ugh... how did this Ultimate become pure Harmony...?"

Owlbert paused, lost in thought again.

This is literally Harmony, isn't it?!

"Under the Garden Domain's effects, if an allied character takes fatal damage, their HP will remain at 1, but their damage output will be reduced by a certain percentage."

"Once the effects of Lumina's Ultimate end, characters in a locked-HP state will recover to their maximum health and automatically activate their Ultimate."

Seeing Owlbert fall into another daze, Lumina added herself, "Mm-hmm, as expected of Lady Lumina! You truly embody the Path of Abundance!" Owlbert snapped out of his reverie and immediately resumed his flattery.

"Ahem, additionally, Lady Lumina's Animated Short and Myriad Celestia episode will premiere soon."

As he spoke, two images flashed across the screen.

The first showed Lumina in a pristine white gown, a gentle smile on her face, radiating holy grace as she extended her hand.

The second depicted a Chibi Lumina, dirt-stained and drenched in rain, her expression blank as the downpour washed over her face, her upper face obscured by her bangs.

"Moreover, in Version 1.7, Lady Lumina will bring a brand-new trial to the Trailblazer!"
