Chapter 301 - Chapter 300: The Ball

[Lumina's Perspective] -> [Trailblazer's Perspective]

"Come on, this way! This way! This way!"

As Sunday, who had been left alone in his room pondering, smiled faintly, the perspective shifted again, returning to the Trailblazer's point of view.

Firefly's adorable and lively voice, like that of a pure and youthful beautiful girl, rang in every Player's ears.

However, the Players' attention wasn't on Firefly's sweet voice at that moment; they were completely captivated by the earlier exchange between Lumina and Sunday.

The Players had a strong feeling that this conversation between Lumina and Sunday hinted at something significant—if not the ultimate secret itself, it couldn't be far off.

"Is it better for the strong to aid the weak, or for the strong to subdue the weak? I remember the Family of Harmony's philosophy being that the strong should aid the weak, right?"

"So... Sunday might be a traitor to the Family?"

Little Bear murmured to himself, recalling the question Sunday had posed to Lumina earlier.

While it seemed unlikely that the Head of the Family would be a traitor, the possibility couldn't be entirely dismissed.

Still, for a traitor to rise to the position of Head of the House, the Penacony Family truly deserved a thumbs-up.jpg.

"Using strength to help the weak... Could Sunday actually worship Order?"

Little Bear recalled the characteristics of the various Paths, quickly narrowing his suspicions to Order.

As Order had been subsumed by Harmony, it was quite plausible that Sunday's true faith lay with Order.

[Holy crap, the Head of the House is a traitor?! Penacony, you're amazing!]

[No wonder Harmony embraces all! Even a worshiper of Order can become the Head of the House! I'm impressed, Penacony, you're the best! (good.jpg)]

[Am I the only one who loves what my wife Lumina said the most? "Using strength to help the weak" or "using strength to suppress the weak" can't compare to simply "using strength to bully the weak"! (facepalm)]

[My wife Lumina, I'm weak! Come bully me! (horny)]

The live stream's comment section started out fairly normal, with viewers discussing whether Sunday was a traitor. But as the discussion progressed, the conversation gradually veered into increasingly disturbing territory...

"Ahem, ahem, control yourselves! If you keep going like this, the live stream will get shut down!" Seeing the comments becoming increasingly outrageous—some even suggesting offline meetups—Little Bear panicked and quickly tried to intervene.

Little Bear's words had an effect. Soon, while some "subs" lingered, the comment section largely returned to normal.

Young people these days... they're acting way too perverted...

Seeing this, Little Bear couldn't help but sigh inwardly, relieved that the situation had been contained.

"Hmm... I guess I just revealed Sunday's identity outright."

After leaving Dewlight Pavilion, Lumina glanced at the reactions in the live stream, her hand resting thoughtfully on her chin. Her eyes showed no hint of apology toward Sunday.

Well... it would be strange if I did feel sorry. I didn't even bring up the topic. Why should I care if Sunday got exposed?

Lumina snorted softly to herself, standing on a Penacony street, glancing around uncertainly. Which way should I go?

She'd already contacted Sparkle and Acheron. Firefly... I can meet her later. That leaves Robin and Black Swan.

Robin's unreachable for now... Wait, should I enter the Dreamscape?

Should I let Acheron stab me? Or should I punch Penacony into oblivion?

Shaking her head, Lumina dismissed the thought. Even if Acheron stabbed her, it might not actually "kill" her, whereas a single punch from her would definitely obliterate Penacony.

"So, the only one left I can contact is Black Swan?" Lumina murmured, stroking her chin. Her gaze locked onto the elegant and intellectually refined Black Swan.

But where would she be at this time?

A flicker of clear confusion crossed Lumina's eyes. The script hadn't mentioned it...

No matter. Lumina could simply sweep through the entirety of Penacony with her Spirit to pinpoint her location.

"Honey~ can you hurry up? The ball is about to start. If you keep dawdling like this, I'll go without you and just find someone cute to dance with!"

"Ah! No, no, no! I was wrong, I was wrong, my beloved wife! Let's hurry over there!"

"Hmph!"

Just as Lumina unleashed her Spirit, preparing to blanket Penacony with her search, a pair of lesbian lovers nearby sparked an idea.

"The ball..." she mused.

Muttering to herself as if struck by an idea, Lumina summoned her System screen. She scrolled through the interface, finally finding a video titled "Rondo Across Countless Kalpas." She clicked play and watched intently.

As the video played, the light in Lumina's eyes grew increasingly intense.

"So, I'll make my move now~"

After finishing the video, Lumina instantly transformed into an embodiment of The Elation. Mimicking Black Swan's confident, all-knowing expression from the video, she confidently delivered that famous line.

After maintaining this pose for a while, Lumina closed the System screen and followed Penacony's signs toward the festival grounds.

"How could I miss out on such a fun spectacle?"

"Since the festival hasn't started yet, that means I... I can witness the entire thing!"

"Hehehe!"

A joyous smile spread across Lumina's face as she hummed a cheerful tune and strolled toward the festival grounds.

Mmm~ mmm-mmm-mmm♫ mmm~ mmm-mmm-mmm♫ mmm~ mmm-mmm-mmm♫

"What a lively scene."

Following Penacony's simple-minded directional signs, Lumina quickly arrived at the ballroom.

Though the dance hadn't officially begun, many guests had already arrived, listening to the elegant violin music. Some were socializing, others were free-loading food, while a few sat quietly in corners, patiently waiting for something to happen.

"Hmm, speaking of which, why would Acheron come to a place like this?"

Without a doubt, the figure sitting quietly in a corner, patiently waiting, was none other than Acheron.

While the Rondo Across Countless Kalpas was quite beautiful, given Acheron's personality, why would she ever attend such a crowded ball?

Lumina felt a flicker of confusion, but didn't dwell on it.

Who cares why Acheron's here? As long as she gives me the Cuddle, she's a good person!

Hmm... though this Cuddle might be a bit... violent.

Lumina locked her gaze on Acheron, about to greet her when she caught a glimpse of a woman in dark purple attire, radiating an air of refined elegance, slowly approaching Acheron.

Seeing this, Lumina immediately stopped and completely concealed her own presence.

She watched quietly as the elegant woman reached Acheron.
