Fay ate quickly, then hurried off to search for aether crystals to check the three kids' elements.
Truthfully, he should have done this sooner, but he wanted to make sure all the adults and able workers got their creatures first.
As for the kids, they didn't need to get a creature too early.
If it were one like Grin or Jolt, for example, it would need to eat other creatures to sustain itself or rely on Fay to provide enough aether.
But there were only three of them, so he could help if needed.
Also, they wouldn't get more than one creature even if they could. He couldn't support that well, maybe Mira… because she was his sister.
"Are you three done?"
Fay returned with two sets of all the normal and second-tier stones. He didn't have any of the dangerous third-tier ones, and even if he had, he wouldn't give one, even to Mira.
"Yes! I want to know if I can have another friend for Jiggz!"
Mira, with her new fairy-like slime beside her, gently poked Jiggz with her finger.
