Upon hearing this, Shen Lishan glanced at Shen Mu and left.
Shen Mu was curious and asked, "What was my mother like?"
The old man struggled to smile and said, "She was a great daughter-in-law, smart, beautiful, and capable of managing the household. You look a lot like her."
Shen Mu smiled faintly and said, "Thank you, Grandpa, for your praise."
The old man waved his hand and said, "Listen to me, little Mu. Don't sweat the small stuff. Your father is biased, and it's no use arguing with him."
Shen Mu smiled and didn't say anything.
After resting for a while with his eyes closed, the old man said, "Forget it, you won't listen to me anyway. Just don't go overboard. The Shen family can't afford to lose face."
He waved his hand, indicating that Shen Mu could leave.
