Chapter 2 - Arohi & Nirvay first meeting continue

Just then, a sleek black car pulled up near the entrance. A boy stepped out of the car, his presence effortlessly commanding attention. Aarohi's heart skipped a beat.

Oh my God, he's so handsome, she thought, quickly shaking her head. What are you thinking, Aarohi? Focus!

At the same moment, Nirvay also noticed Aarohi. Their eyes met briefly, and something about that moment stayed with both of them.

Meanwhile, Sukhi continued her endless chatter, completely unaware of Aarohi's momentary distraction.

Suddenly, a girl rushed over, calling out, "Nirvay! Nirvay!" The girl was Shreya, Nirvay's so-called girlfriend. Aarohi glanced at her and couldn't help but admire her beauty.

Wow, even she is so pretty. Looks like everyone here is either handsome or beautiful.

Sukhi's non-stop talking continued in the background as Aarohi mentally reminded herself, I need to focus on studying. Maths and Physics are already enough to make my life miserable.

"Aarohi, what are you thinking? Why aren't you saying anything?" Sukhi asked, noticing Aarohi's silence.

"Huh? I was listening," Aarohi replied, quickly coming back to the conversation.

"Today, I'll show you Ayush in person! I have a feeling he might confess his love to me soon!" Sukhi said, her eyes sparkling.

"Wow, that's the confidence we need!" Aarohi teased with a playful smile.

"You can always tell what's in a boy's heart, you know?" Sukhi declared confidently.

"Yeah, I have my own echocardiogram!" Aarohi joked, making both of them laugh.

Chatting and laughing, the two friends entered their classroom, ready to begin their new journey together.

As soon as they entered, Sukhi pointed to a boy. "That's Ayush, isn't he handsome?"

Aarohi smiled, "Yeah, but I think you might be the one to confess first."

Just then, Nirvay entered the class with Shreya and her sidekicks, Riya and Piya. Aarohi noticed him immediately.

"He's in this class too?" she whispered, surprised.

Sukhi noticed Aarohi's gaze. "That's Nirvay. He's the class topper and Ayush's best friend, but we don't really talk to him much. And that's Shreya, his childhood friend and girlfriend."

"Nice," Aarohi replied with a neutral tone, though in her mind she thought, Handsome, topper, beautiful girlfriend, probably rich too—God really gave him everything.

The first period began, and Aarohi introduced herself to the class.

During lunch break, Sukhi went off to talk to Ayush, leaving Aarohi to grab a snack from the canteen. As she was walking back, she accidentally bumped into Nirvay near the class gate.

"New girl, watch where you're going," Nirvay said, a little amused.

"You can also watch where you're going," Aarohi replied without hesitation and walked away, ignoring him completely.

Nirvay was taken aback. That was strange. No one has ever talked to me like that before.

Nirvay was popular, always surrounded by girls and receiving constant attention. He was used to it.

Meanwhile, Aarohi sat in the canteen, eating her snack and mumbling, "Sukhi left me alone to enjoy by herself. Fine, go enjoy."

When Aarohi returned to class, Nirvay was sitting in the front seat surrounded by Shreya, Riya, and Piya. As soon as Aarohi entered, her eyes accidentally met Nirvay's again. She quickly looked away and rushed to her seat.

This new girl is weird. Every time she sees me, she makes such a strange face, as if I'm some ghost, Nirvay thought to himself.

"I think she's crazy. Just ignore her," Shreya said casually.

"Did you see? No makeup, so weird looking," Riya added.

"Who is she friends with? Sukhi? Both are the same!" Piya mocked, making funny faces.

The bell rang, and the next period started. The rest of the classes went smoothly.

After school, Aarohi and Sukhi were walking home together, chatting about their day.

Nirvay, meanwhile, was standing near his car, talking to Shreya, Riya, and Piya, when Aarohi quietly walked past the school gate without noticing him.

Their story had just begun.
