Chapter 16 - The Pawn That Binds the Board

When Grandpa came out of that space, I saw his concept was peace and passivity.

Hmm… so that's why he can tear through space easily.

Oh, it is an interesting concept.

He can even use it to make peace with luck on his level and then easily get an earring like my Elias of Happiness by falling or something like that.

I like it—because then I will steal it from him.

Hehe.

I was still playing in the printer room by slamming my rubber scythe on my brother's back.

I also had used my scythe ability on him.

He was still in the library room and started to walk toward the bookshelf where he grabbed a big book.

It was also about cultivation stages—that is, the mainstream one, because it's easy.

It is Enclaws cultivation.

By absorbing it, creating veins in the body and blah blah blah.

It has the same goal: to, at the end, transform into an energy lifeform, then concept.

It's just that it is easy to follow.

Now I got information from my sneaky spy of the scythe.

It was good.

Grandpa's whole life was my planning.

Pfff—hahahaha!

I started to laugh like a little kid with an adorable voice while I was slamming my scythe on my brother's back.

He looked happy and smiled while looking at me.

Then I used moral manipulation ability to bind my grandpa where he was in the library.

Huh… this old man has quite an understanding of human nature.

His concept also now changed from peace and passivity to peace in war and war in peace—both opposites.

Huh.

Isn't it better to cultivate an idea about a concept than the concept itself?

Because now this line looks like it has more uses than simple war and peace…

I don't know.

Hmm.

So… the spy went back in time.

While he was a child, he manipulated some people around the town and killed his parents.

Then he slowly showed him the dark side of the world by planting one or two thoughts a day.

Since human lifespan here is one million, it wasn't a problem.

Then he used him to make the printer by implanting ideas day by day.

But he couldn't do it, because intelligence is not a gifted thing—it is shaped by environment, situations, and self-beliefs and thoughts.

In simple words:

Intelligence is a clay. Emotions are fuel. Reason and logic are weapons. Consciousness or awareness is immortality. And soul a boat. And body a decaying container.

Hmm…

So, to complete plan about the printer:

He used a woman from an underground organization that rebels against empires.

And when he used her, she gave birth to two children—one girl and the other boy.

He taught them only knowledge, blind obedience, and how to be creative.

Those two grew up, and then he showed his printer plan.

They completed it.

But now they also had a little will.

So those two gave birth to two children—me and my brother.

When he saw this, he was not happy about it.

Not because they were brother and sister…

But because they got out of his control.

It is because the spy changed his concept by going back to peace in war and war in peace…

Or he would have stayed passive.

So he made them fight each other.

Then be punished for it—and children from public.

Now here we are.

My spy did a good job, huh?

He also planted many seeds for my next PI plan I am thinking.

Hehe.

I love my spy now.

But I think there is a future me hand in this.

Let me understand it in a new way.

I created a bubble.

Then small dots in it.

Then I created a new bubble and put those dots from the first bubble to this one.

But turned one dot around a little.

Hmm…

Everything was the same, but not that little one dot I turned around.

Here the bubble is timeline and dots are events.

The new created timeline will have butterfly effect, which will affect future me if he bound himself to the time intentionally.

And the first empty timeline will go somewhere in oblivion.

It creates an interesting paradox of paradoxes…

And I think future me did this to give me potential great start.

I did it all in less than a nanosecond in front of my brother.

I also didn't say anything about grandpa or my cultivation.

I don't want my cute toy to get in danger.

My grandpa was still struggling.

I spoke in his mind:

"Hello Grandpa. I hope you are not okay."

He didn't look shocked.

I see—he already connected everything on the surface level.

"What are you?" he said.

"I am the pawn, the player, the rule, the board, and the game."

Huh.

My spy also used Grandpa to get information about fate and causality.
